Normafa is a great destination both in winter and summer. The busiest point of the Buda Hills is covered with pleasant walking trails, making it perfect for hiking as well as relaxing picnics.

Enjoy the fresh air and the city panorama. Take the cog wheel train (line 60) to Széchenyihegy and walk 15 minutes from there.

There’s a tiny wooden booth at Normafa offering nostalgic strudels. Although you can find tastier ones in town, the scents are amazing, and the view is pleasing.

Fák nagyon kopaszak, csúnya látvány, jég+vihar nagy pusztítást végzett. Hétvégén nagy a tömeg, kevés a parkolóhely. Ösvény saras, babakocsival nehezen járható. 2015-03.
