- Nice quiet beach. It's under redevelopment trees have been added throughout the parking lot. Food, washrooms, lifeguards, volleyball and more. Well worth visiting. Can't wait to see after the Reno.Upvoted Jan 5
- Beautiful beach, plenty of free parking (come early) a really nice park adjacent to the beach that has lots of picnic tables, grills, etc. Perfect place for families!
- JoshMarch 4, 2019Beautiful, white sanded beach. Plenty of free parking. Only negative is the traffic. Avoid peak times if you can, or else expect an additional half hour drive.
- Kenyon WillisJuly 23, 2014Cortez beach is the first area you'll come to when going to Coquina. Set up shop there as its less crowded and easier to get back and forth to the car if needed.
- Lindsay BlideMarch 6, 2012Stay away on the weekends. Too many out of towners and you may get stabbed, esp on Easter. Great beach during the week, very quiet! Dont plan on fishing in the surf anymore, the police will stop you.
