- Mircea ScarlatescuSeptember 12, 2013The new metro line is the best way to get to the city center, and it takes just 20-25 minutes. Get your LisboaCard from the arrivals terminal, it's good for citybreaks...Upvoted 2 weeks ago
- Marta Pinheiro RosaOctober 19, 2013Security works very good as long as you as a passenger know what to take in your luggage.Electronic passport works fine but still some adjustments being done.wi fi free for 30m and sockets available.Upvoted 22 hours ago
- Take a taxi on departures area and avoid the long queue! The metro is also a comfortable and cheap way of getting to the city centre.Upvoted 2 days ago
- Everything and always out of schedule!! Your patience is always tested here! If you were unlucky enough to have a transfer flight through that airport you will understand what I am saying!!Upvoted 1 week ago
- All flights arrive at Terminal 1 (with a Starbucks, shops and lockers). Metro to the city takes ca. 30m. Budget airlines depart in Terminal 2 (no facilities). This will take approx. 15m longer.
- LaszloOctober 24, 2018The airport is close to the city center (7 km) and completely surrounded by residential areas. Therefore further expansion is limited, and it recently became very overloaded - especially Terminal 2.
- Jack SmithOctober 29, 2018If you're departing from T2, but have taken public transport to T1, then stay there to use the shops and restaurants, as T2 has far less outlets, not enough seating and can become very crowded.
- MuratJune 5, 2018Close to city 20min, costs 25euro. Public transportation is available. Many self checkin kiosks and luggage drop points are built in. There could be lines, but goes fast. Many food/shopping available.
- Ricarda Christina HollwegSeptember 10, 2022”Go Natural” at the end of the food court has a delicious Açai Bowl. Good for a healthy breakfast. There are some nice shops and cafés to spend the time.
- Unlimited free wifi throughout the whole airport if you register once for a free account! Works at all airports in Portugal.
- Christophe JammetMay 30, 2022Beware of passport control *after* security. The lines are long for non-eu citizens. If you're not European but traveling w/ a European they will let you go through the EU line which is way faster.
- Daniel BauerJune 23, 2020Not far from city center, very good connections with public transportation 👌Upvoted Feb 23
- Michael HoldsworthMarch 30, 2015Good airport, security was relaxed and plenty of space and choice in the bars and restaurants. Public transport links are superb as well.
- KatherineMarch 25, 2023It’s always a bit crowded so look for a seat early. Nice design in the central circular area - looks like a mall. Along one corridor you can find calmer spaces and a play area for kids.
- Domnule ObzenJuly 24, 2015Great airport! You can find everything here - including city tours! If you're here, as a connection flight, you can easily visit the city and come back with no rush.
- Handy ! Don't want to carry your suitcases while heading to town ? Airport has a storage service (left end side at then end, upon arrivals exit). (Reasonable) fee per 24h. lisbon-airport.com/baggage
- NmOctober 4, 2016Well-organized & Very close to the center .. Taxi fare to the city center costs only 10-15 euro ..
- 🎧November 5, 2017Queues at passport control are huge both at arrivals and departures. So if you are not an eu resident, don’t waste time in the shopping area, rush! It can take 1+ hour to get through the lazy officers
- Jorge SebastiaoDecember 30, 2014The new expanded airport is great. Lots of space. But be ready for long walks specially for international flights. So extra electric cars would be great.
- Ariel HermanAugust 12, 2017Terminal 1 (main terminal) is beautiful with a good selection of dining and shopping options. They also have a huge store where you can buy those Portuguese sardine cans with your birth year on them.
- Vijay BangaJanuary 5, 2020Lounges are nice. If you forgot the pastel de nada, you can get several brands pretty decent prices.
- fred rodriguesMarch 17, 2019Terminal 1 is really big with plenty of stores. The duty free has the biggest beverage selection I’ve ever seen, including hard liquors, spirits and wines.
- Christian IngleDecember 4, 2013Great airport. Easy to get to. Rental drop off not far from the terminal. Checkin easy and some of the best shopping choices if you have the money or inclination. Lisbon lounge is good too!

- Daniel MartinMay 23, 2019If you want to fly in to Lisbon, or from Lisbon to another place that also has an airport, this is the place to be
- John BellJune 6, 2012The TAP premium lounge is a sauna - especially upstairs. You might be best sticking to the concourse
- There's another Vodafone store, usually less crowded, if you take the escalators and go straight forward.
- Ricarda Christina HollwegMay 16, 2016The architecture is really awesome and there are nice food options. I'm impressed as Lisbon only has about 600.000 inhabitants.
- Never take a taxi at the arrivals; always go for the ones at departures.Upvoted Mar 17

- Heitor BottiJuly 18, 2016Very well organized airport, the staff helped me when I couldn´t find the bathroom. There are a lot of places to have a good dinner in the international terminal. Overall, is a good airport.
- John AOctober 8, 2014Good shopping and food court with a modern vibe and trendy furniture - stop by Harrods (London) locations for take away food or shopping.
- Luisger LopezMarch 29Very nice Uber/Bolt pickup area on Terminal 2. Indoors, color/coded (RED aka Vermehlo in Portugués) so drivers can park and load luggage. Departures though aren’t that intuitive, but flow is OK.Upvoted 4 weeks ago
- Don’t make the mistake of eating someplace outside the main food court. There aren’t many options and the ones you have are usually crowded.
- Take a cab or car share at Departures level, NOT arrivals - those cabs will rip you off. Typically 6-8€ ride to city center (Kapten is cheapest here - use code PEITIA for 6€ off your first ride).
- Avi GrozFebruary 10, 2018Terminal 1, surprisingly great duty free, plentiful food options. Great airport at a great city #Lisbon #airport
- Olga RamerApril 15, 2018Nice airport. A bit hectic, but quite modern. Good thing, it's very well connected to the city and not far from the center. I had a Uber ride from Alfama for 8 euros.
- Big airport, lot of places to have a meal, e.g Burger King etc, easy to get to the city center using metro
- Carlos Balthazar SummSeptember 7, 2018Airport is very crowded. Be sure to arrive early and leave some extra time for security and passport control.
- Josh WilliamsSeptember 20, 2014Enter through the gift shop! The walk from the security checkpoint to the departure gates hilariously takes you on a long snaking tour through the duty free shop. Whiskey, vodka, and watches!
- LexiNovember 3, 2022If you have a layover; make sure you have plenty of time! After you get off the first leg of the flight, you will more likely wait for a bus to take then passport control once you get to the terminal
- s@mDecember 10, 2019After the hassle of security line, this airport is easy to navigate and has plenty of options for snacks, beverages, and lounges.
- Hayo BartApril 2, 2022Looking for water at an affordable price? Grab your bottle at the vending machine directly past security (T1) for just €1,-. Anywhere else at the airport you'll pay €2+.
- Lover of LifeDecember 10, 2016There are machines to do the check in online. Very convenient so no need to fall in line if in case one forgets.
- Monika VakulchikJanuary 1, 2013HUGE airport; with friendly staff. Easy access (metro or taxi all around Lisbon).
- The good: a new iQOS lounge for those that need a non combustible smoke while transiting thru. Lots of food options and shops. the use of buses to get to flights is archaic and slows everything down.
- DavidFebruary 15, 2016Modern and clean. A lot of space. Very well organized. Did not succeed to connect to free WiFi at baggage claim.
- GiacsonNovember 12, 2016Nice and modern airport, very close to the city (20 minutes by taxi). Be careful on the distance between the 2 terminals so make sure you know where to go
- Security is the highlight here. As in you don't have to take your laptop out of your bag, and you can go through with pasteis de nata.
