The sort of place that looks nice in sunset photos. The red shrine gate is pretty but in reality it’s surrounded by concrete and traffic. The beach is muddy and at low tide so shallow you can’t swim

海に浮かぶ赤い鳥居が目印。有料駐車場は時間制ではなく一日￥410。海辺で遊泳できたり、遊覧船にのって沖合の島まで渡れたり、ちょっとしたリゾート感覚です。

夜22時まで赤鳥居がライトアップされてます。海は綺麗だし写真を撮るには持ってこいの場所です。

大地震により砂州が決壊し、現在の汽水湖としての浜名湖となる。決壊した今切口には浜名大橋がかかり、湖内は穏やかな波で水質が良いです

泳げる範囲はすごい狭いです。真ん中の島はボートに乗っていけます。
