A village original. Opened in 1978, still the grand dame of the neighborhood. You’re not a local til you know the waiters.
This is my favorite restaurant. I would recommend starting with a piece of white tuna aburi sushi. This type of sushi is hard to find and Japonica makes it best. Also, say hi to Shingo.
The Firecracker Roll is dank. Get that with the Ultra Sushi 🍣 and the Pop Rock Shrimp 🍤 as an appetizer and you're set ✨👌🏾

They're more than touchy here about changing an order of an adult beverage. They might even claim falsely that you always do it.

It's gone a bit downhill (pieces were sloppily cut and not very fresh, in fact I would go so far as to say that they tasted funky) ... may have been an off night, but probably not going back.
