Dan is abrasive but think of him as soup nazi. As long as you know what you're dealing with it's not as bad. Def don't let him deter you from going. Great pastries, soups, quiches and daily specials!

The vegan Cobb salad is very satisfying even for meat eaters. If you want a little break from meat/dairy, order this.
One of my favorites... You can't go wrong with their quiches - the art on the walls is always funky and fun and it can be a great place to do some people watching!

Rhi MFebruary 17, 2014Great patio- however they don't let you bring your four-legged friends! They do say you can tie them up to the other side of the gate where you eat however.
Carrot cake and coffee are a must on every return trip I make to Houston, and both patios are fantastic, although I do enjoy getting a seat in the front room.
where to start w/ this place, been coming here for over 15yrs, their coffee amazing, atmosphere is blissful, loved all the food especially their pizza, and desserts are yumm, my fav tiramisu.

For breakfast check the Eggs Benedict w/ medium poached eggs, sub salsa Rojas for hollandaise sauce. Add prosciutto and have potatoes on the side! Yum!- Good food - interesting clientele - nice patio and teddy bears on the walls! I love this place!

Laid back atmosphere, and good food and friendly service. A lot of vegetarian options. The patio is where it's at.
I love the scones! Any of them. but especially cheese -jalapeño one!- Check out the sister boutiques next door: Space & Domy. The empenadas are delicious. Order them with the salsas!
