- Dano RenelMarch 7, 2017One of the best barbecue places that has much to offer. Fairly reasonable prices and a diverse menu that includes many classic barbecue favorites like: brisket, pulled pork, Mac and cheese, etc.
- Tyler LeachAugust 29, 2012Great American fare. Mac & Cheese is a must. Maple Bourbon Ice Cream is big enough for 2 or 4 to share. They don't take reservations so be prepared for a 30-45m wait in peak times. It's worth it.
- The mac and cheese, ribs, or wings are all amazing. The porker is a beast of a sandwich, so make sure you don't have plans later before you order it. The fried pickles are also quite tasty.
- Food is amazing. Have the ribs or pulled pork and mac n cheese. Oh they always accommodate a whim. Tonight they took the BLT special and made it an appetizer for our group!
- Christina GobieFebruary 7, 2013Went here for the first time last week, and I must say it was a lot of fun and they have amazing food! Their woodfire pizzas are amazing, and I highly enjoyed their hard cider jks solstice!! :)
- Kristeena SarverAugust 21, 2018Best bbq I’ve found in Michigan. The brisket is to die for. Delicious Mac and cheese, cheesy potatoes, green bean casserole. Smoked chicken is so juicy and delicious. Seriously can’t go wrong here.
- Ricky SherrillOctober 25, 2016You have to stop buy if you are in the area. Good food with generous portions. The sandwiches are my choice for lunch. The side are all good and be sure to save room for dessert.
- Not an in a rush place, sit outside, calm down, start with the wings, split a salad. Order the porker, pulled pork, or brisket, roasted veg, Mac and cheese side, and pudding for dessert
- The food here is VERY good. Try he Porker, which is pork on top of pork, on top of pork...I'm pretty sure you can't go wrong with that!! #nomnom
- Nicholas PonteOctober 26, 2013If you don't know what to get because you don't want to narrow it down to just one thing and maybe regret not ordering the other thing you wanted to try then order the woodshop 101 👍👍👍👍
- Kayla ShotwellSeptember 28, 2015The pulled pork sandwich is amazing! I get mine with no chillies & sub the potatoe salad for the mac & cheese. Their margaritas are fabulous!!!
- David MurraySeptember 29, 2013Like tangy and spicy? Make some Killer Ketchup. Mix 1/3 of their Hell Michigan BBQ sauce with 2/3 of their Bama sauce. Perfect sauce compliment to their meat.
- Some of the best BBQ I've ever had. The pulled pork, mac & cheese, and desserts are some of the best I've ever had. Definitely will be back.
- April MartinMay 16, 2017The Mac & Cheese❤️ also the deep fried pickles were perfectly battered. I had the porker sandwich and it was so yummy
- Avoid the weekend hassles and order a pizza or slab to go. Very fast and little wait! Enjoy a glass of Bad Ass while you wait upstairs in the lounge or at the bars.
- D. Rudolph GibsonJune 27, 2014Excellent visit. Food very good. The onion rings, wing dings, steak all good. Fine place to go for a road trip....
- The pulled pork is amazing and better than Slows' in Detroit! Great bar upstairs helps with the long wait.
- Alex CendejasSeptember 29, 2016The burnt ends and the pulled pork are awesome. Mac&cheese is delicious, great beer and great staff!
- Try the 101 -- white chicken, pulled pork, back ribs, mac&cheese and onion rings. Order a kid rock bad ass bear to wash it down....bonus points for the butterscotch pudding or deep fried twinkie.
- Kaylyn LeVoirJuly 17, 2015I think it was awesome that they had a gluten free menu!! Although I was highly disappointed with my meal. I got the baby back ribs and they barely had any meal and it was burnt to a crisp.
- The pulled pork and brisket are delightful, especially when paired with the mac&chesse and the onion rings. Try the pumpkin pie martini during the Fall!
- Amazing BBQ. Mac & cheese. Collards are also great. Nice beer selection as well.
- Best BBQ in metro Detroit area. Hands down. Burnt ends. Ribs. Pulled pork. Butterscotch pudding. Its all good. Oh yeah, and deep fried Twinkies.
- Cindy SSeptember 11, 2013Porker sandwich is yummy! Me and my boyfriend found it adequate to split when we ordered an extra side.
- Kayla KopkeFebruary 1, 2012Probably the best french fries I've had! Perfectly burnt! Even tasted awesome reheated in the microwave, which I still can't understand...
- Tricia NolanAugust 26, 2012The Baby Back's are not to be missed. Neither is the Brisket. SERIOUSLY!!! Best BBQ in my life!!!
- Alan MooreJanuary 9, 2013The porker was so big I didn't think I would be able to finish it but it was so good that I couldn't stop.
- Valerie MarchiOctober 29, 2012The food is AMAZING!!! We were a party of 14 and the staff were accommodating and friendly.

- Elise PawlowskiSeptember 5, 2011Onion rings, brisket, pulled pork and mac n cheese are all phenomenal! Worth the wait
- Upstairs is a great reason to wait! Fried pickles, pulled pork, and butterscotch pudding!! YUM!!
- Nancy KemmerFebruary 20, 2012The new bar upstairs rocks! Jeff is an awesome bartender!! LOVE THIS PLACE!!
- Next season I'm going to fill my pool with their butterscotch pudding, and swim in it ALL SUMMER LONG!!!
- Best Mac 'n Cheese on earth. But be prepared for a long wait to get a table.
