- José PicónJune 3, 2017For men, there's not a selection of clothes that's worth the trip. Would recommend Housing Works Thrift which is a few blocks down the street.
- RaquelMarch 6, 2011Don't make the mistake of having them donate items as they select items to buy. I returned to see what they selected, which was supposedly "none", but then they couldn't show me the "donate" pile???
- Sab RenaAugust 31, 2013It's not as good as the Williamsburg or Manhattan stores but its ok. I probably won't be coming back though. The quality finds are few and far between and it lacks organization.
- HolidayApril 8, 2017A good time! Designer gently used bargains, a lot of ny indie labels. Bring in some gently used high end pieces for trade. Always good pieces on the racks, nice staff, good music.
- Hiroki MurakamiMarch 27, 2016If you've never been in a fight but always been slightly curious, selling clothes here is exactly what it feels like to be hit in the face.
- Andrea S.August 5, 2010It's hit or miss, but it's fun to rummage through their selection & most things are affordable. Better than the Williamsburg location, staff still sucks though.
- When dropping items off to sell, make sure you keep a tally of what you gave them and check the rejects afterwards as sometimes they "forget" and take something without including it on your receipt.
- Edward HomickJuly 20, 2011More examples of how the employees are rude: rushed me in and out of there, they close at 9 but kick everyone out at 8 and didn't let me try stuff on, very snobby and unfriendly women working there
- Kamala JeffersonSeptember 29, 2015Totally disrepectful and rude. Accused by staff of taking a bag from hold section but they would not view the tape. Instead they were degrading and demanded I leave. Never shop here. Nasty owner.
- Kristen JohnsonMarch 11, 2014Found an incredible leather jacket here...for 10 bucks! Great deals and even better clothes. Definitely will go back.
- Wanda Hulk BitchAugust 29, 2012They never take the nice stuff I have, which means they take almost none of my shit. Mega snobby clothes pickers. But it's cool I guess.
- Edward HomickJuly 20, 2011Very rude staff, definitely fit the mean new yorker stereotype, came 2 hours away to sell clothes and told me I was late even though it was over 2 hours till they close, the Williamsburg one is better
- Fodor's TravelSeptember 9, 2015Most threads cost $11 to $23 (the latter for, say, a nearly new Paul Smith jacket from a season or three ago, or an Italian Sisley wool coat). Read more
- ccApril 7, 2010This place is super disorganized and filled with mostly ugly unwearable clothes. Odd Twin is better!
- Be prepared to spend some time. You will find at least 1 or 2 bargains you like. Organized and clean. Try things on, no return policy.
- Samara S.January 17, 2015I find the most unique things here. From vintage to trendy & the fries are GREAT
- The Corcoran GroupAugust 5, 2010The selection can be hit or miss, but when it’s on, you can walk out with a ton of clothes for cheap. Don’t miss the shoes! Drop off your clothes for store credit or cash. Very selective.
- dapperQAugust 31, 2010An institution in Brooklyn's vintage clothing sector. It's hit and miss in here, but worth it to search for the few gems lurking beneath the hipster sun dresses.
- They have a showroom seller in the neighborhood who sometimes drops things off like a $30 NWT Catherine malandrino dress!
