Although International Arrivals after Customs has been recently remodeled, you still have to pass the shark tank timeshare area. Wade through without stopping until you get to the ATMs and taxis.

If you visit the surfing village of Sayulita, half an hour outside of town, you won't be sorry. One of my favorite spots in the world.

Past security in international terminal "B" gates, there are some amazing deals on liquor, if that's your thing. E.g., two 1 liter bottles of Bacardi for $28 US. Still haven't found where to plug in.

An annoying airport to fly into: the line at customs is interminable, get your luggage and then push past the onslaught of timeshare sales people. Best option is to have a car service pick you up.

Modern and efficient but already too small for amount of traffic. The lines for customs is the longest I have ever experienced. Patience at the extreme needed

If you're early for your flight, you should still go through security. Don't worry — the restaurants and shopping are better than before the checkpoint.

Prebook your ground transportation in advance of flying into PVR, head directly outside by Corona Bar, DO NOT STOP to speak to anyone inside the terminal no matter what.

Keep away from those white shirt salesman in the arrival hall. They look prof but never talk a word with them. They'll ask you where you stay but lead you to a rival hotel's counter and sell u sth.

Quicker security check than US airports. Be sure to take COVID quiz before boarding. Also, you do not need to take out electronics, or remove your shoes.✌🏽

Run past the scam artist timeshare mob as you walk through arrivals. You don't get anything in this world for free and this is not an exception. Get a taxi outside for about $10 (US).

Easy to get thru and security had no lines, but very limited food options open at 8am so don’t come hungry

Off ore everything and keep walking out the door till you see a taxi sign. Customs goes fast, but the solicitations after is overwhelming.

The national departure area is lame. Go straight to international where you'll find nice restaurants and stores

When getting off the plane, run, don't walk, until you see the outside (past the two "rooms"). The timeshare people will try every dirty trick in the book. Be rude if you must, it's ok.

Check in when desk first opens then go back home and wait until 45 minutes before flight is boarding and go back to airport! We never have a line and usually get First Class!

Bring earplugs and pray this place never has a fire as it seems every smoke alarm in the facility is dead or dying. Chirp, chirp, chirp... Everyone can hear it except for the people that work here.

If you are going to take a bus from the central bus station you might tale a white bus from across the bridge, since the bus station is less than 2 kms away
