- The go-to spot for a cheap pint in Central London! And the interior's pretty nice too
- DavidJune 16, 2015Beautiful dining room in the first floor. Very cozy and british atmosphere. Food is tasty and not too expensive at all. Friendly staff.Upvoted 1 week ago
- Duncan MetcalfeApril 3, 2014There's a dartboard in the far corner. Ask at the bar for the darts. And nobody can see the board itself unless they're playing, so if you're crap at darts, don't worry ;)Upvoted Jan 26
- Considering the very central location, you can get a pint of lager for just £2.20! (Alpine lager). Great large place, however crowded. Nice cosy dinning upstairs. Loving it.
- Come here for a good old fashioned pint. Cheapest place to go for a drink in the Trafalgar Square area. There is an upstairs if downstairs seems busy
- Halime VatanseverMarch 12, 2016Great fish and chips also nice samuel smith beer. You can feel real english pub atmosphere.
- Rachael HarrisonAugust 27, 2018Classic Sam Smith's - there's a spacious upstairs and, as with many a central pub, it gets much quieter post 7pm ish
- One of my favourite bars in London. Downstairs with the private booths, and upstairs for big couches. As with all other Samual Smiths, very very cheap beer (alpine larger isn't bad), especially for ce
- RuslanMarch 25, 2016Great value, the white label scotch is superb, just as the organic wheat bear and the dark stout.
- Boaz SachsSeptember 28, 2015Typical English pub in the heart of London with a cheery atmosphere and affordable beer
- Beth RobinsonAugust 20, 2013Great beer. Really cheap. A real drinking bar. Upstairs food is served and also tastes good and is cheap. Best pub in London.
- Aaron NgJune 9, 2019Nice cubicles at the sides to stash yourself and your mates away for good conversations.
- Matt Ta-MinJanuary 3, 2015Fantastic Sammy Smiths pub in the centre of London. Great value and a nice and cozy pub.
- GavinJuly 28, 2014Yorkshire beer, served with a Yorkshire head. And less than £3 a pint. What more could you want in Central London?
- James CannJanuary 12, 2011Go to the upstairs bar if it's more than 4 deep at the downstairs bar. Bar staff will clear 3 deep in 4mins, they're fast. But 4mins may feel like forever if it's your first of the night. JC
- My absolute favourite pub in London. Obscenely central, cheap Bitter, and there's always a free table.
- A banker of a spot to meet, and wonderful place to drink if you're after a bar that smells of beer...
- Tasty organic cherry beer, great cheap homemade ales. Come after a long National Gallery wandering.
- Gareth EllisSeptember 16, 2011Wonderful Sam Smith's pub...all their own beers, ales, etc. and it is very cheap - you can get a lovely pint for £2.50.
- Keith GreywoodJanuary 10, 2017Cosy Sam Smith's pub with upstairs area and varied clientele. Does have a log fire 🔥
- Ellie BelcherJanuary 22, 2012Really nice pub, cheap and the staff don't mind if you play board games or do some crafty activities with your friends.
- Antonio BarbosaSeptember 11, 2011One of, if not the most, inexpensive pubs in London. You won't find the brands you're used to though :). All local stuff.
- Peter SkeltonFebruary 23, 2011Great pub, you could take you mates, girlfriend or mum here and they would all love it. Try the wheat beer!

- Clive ReedmanFebruary 1, 2015Good atmosphere and sells some good beers. The food is ok for pub grub, but not outstanding.
- Cheap beer, like most Sam Smith pubs - comfy sofas upstairs.
