- If you work around here, and have to park on the street, it may be cheaper for you to park at a metro station and metro to King for work. Street parking can be as high as 1.75 FOR ONE HOUR!
- If you missed theTrolley, the Dash bus 2 and 5 also go most of the way down king street. Just make sure you get the right direction.

- Riding the Metro on weekends is a trial. They are always single tracking or holding momentarily or shuttle busing you. It takes twice as long to get anywhere

- As noted above, the King Street Tolley is a great way to get around Old Town Alexandria. What it failed to mention is that it is free to ride.
- King Street Trolley now leaves every 15 minutes on the quarter hour (from here and from the waterfront). Still free, with more chances to hop on!

- In the Kiss & Ride lot are Zipcars and the King Street Trolley (free). Also, the regular buses allow for easy transportation.

- VictoriaJanuary 12, 2012Lee A.'s tip is incorrect. The Blue Line originates in Springfield/Franconia.
- Blue and Yellow lines run parallel. This is a transfer point.
- There are a lot of bums that hang around. Be careful not to make eye contact or they'll start asking you for things.
- The platform gets VERY slick on rainy and snowy days. Be careful!
- Remember to stand right, walk left. Please and thank you!
- King St trolley is free of charge and leaves every 20min or so.
