The Intercontinental Hotel provides two POPOS (Privately Owned Public Open Spaces) on the fourth and sixth floors. They have various seating arrangements and landscaping, each with views of the City

A great location, one of the coolest hotel bars we found in the city, and a super gym which you will probably want to hit up in the morning before the feasting begins.

Order a beer and ask for a free Wi-Fi password in the bar to avoid paying $14.95 a day -- and to get a beer. The code will work in your room too.

They treat you with respect. open the door for you. The place is very technology advanced. Overall a great place to spend your time. When you're not having fun in San Francisco.

Great views of city skyline from west facing rooms. 6th floor gym is open 24/7 and has a FloWater machine where you can refill water bottles.

If you've eaten too many burritos during your SF trip, try to do a mini-triathlon at the gym (30 min swim, 5 mi bike, 3 mi run)

Amazing how 'luxury' hotel chains think that nickel & diming you on water and wifi creates a good customer experience.

You'll find that this hotel is close to everything. You're within a 5 minute walk to several restaurants, shopping, a movie theater, and the Moscone Center. http://sf.travelivery.com Read more

If you sign up for a completely free IHG membership you get free Internet and free 2pm checkout. Even if you never use points it's worth it. Stay above 8th floor for an unobstructed view.

This place looks modern but actually feels dated. The level of service, at best, was reasonable but nothing more and below that of other IC properties. Corner room had great views. Lounge enjoyable.

Parking is $60 a night... Included breakfast is for 2 guests even if your reservation is for 4. Breakfast is $28 even if you're 7 years old. The pool was an afterthought very tight area with no seats.

Although this hotel is relatively new (2008), the rooms and hallways already look very dated. Another guest was there when we checked into our room, and they offered free breakfast as an apology
