Unbelievable department store. Best part is the food offering on the basement level. They have delicious food, thousands of options, breads, sushi, chinese, sweets.

Seriously worth a trip for the sweets & prepared foods floor on B1 (same floor as the subway exit from Ginza station). Try the different amazake flavors from Furumachi Koji Seijojo.

Amazing department store and the biggest Louis Vuitton. Japanese pajamas different and comfortable wear for indoors. All sizes are easy to find.

If you only have time for 1 Ginza department store, go to Mitsukoshi instead. Here, the food section is smaller, and the Design Collection has very little you probably haven't seen elsewhere.

実は1925年建築の歴史的建造物（南半分。北側の一部は旧伊東屋の1930年建築でこれまた歴史的建造物。残りは1964年の増築）なのです。建築当時の面影はほとんど残っていませんが。

試食コーナーのなかではイタリア料理デリ店で食えるフォカチオがナンバーワンだ。チーズ王国も結構旨いチーズ試食させてもらえる。あと会社帰りの時間だと地下２階の魚売り場に行くと「半額」になってる商品も多く狙い目だ。

地下のグローサリーは比較的空いてるので、お買い物には最適かもしれない。18時以降に入ってセール品を狙おう。

若い人が銀座から消えていた2０年以上前から、デザインを重視した空間や品物で勝負してきたデパート。食品売り場のスイーツは、ずっと充実していて「都内デパ地下での出店は、ここだけ」をたくさん見てきました。

トイレが、どの個室が空いてるか入り口のパネルでわかるようになってて便利です。でも個室でたら目の前で待ってる人が居たので見てない人には意味は無いんだなと。

8Fのレストラン街にあるうなぎの宮川本店は、注文を受けてから作るから30分かかるので早めに行った方がいいよ。でもめちゃくちゃうまいよ！

8Fの天ぷら「つな八」はやっぱり美味しい！です。テーブル席もカウンターもセミ個室？もあります。百貨店の中なのでランチタイムが過ぎた変な時間にも食べられるのがいいです。

6Fにパリの高級子供服ブランドのボンポワンが入ってます。何回洗濯してもよれないなど、品質がいいのでギフトにもいいと思います。
