- Rachel HillAugust 8, 2013This Zoo is my favorite to go to eventually built it's own. The Ft. Worth zoo offers a variety of animals and plenty of shade. My favorite aspect is the "underground" aquarium view of the Penguins.Upvoted 3 weeks ago
- Ju LeOctober 11, 2018It’s an awesome zoo for kids of every age! Especially the activities around the zoo (Petting zoo, discover areas, information signs) are great to learn and explore.Upvoted Mar 1
- Marcus HilesAugust 8, 2016The Fort Worth Zoo is an excellent choice for a location to bring you friends and family. My family and I visited this park six months ago and our favorite exhibit was the tundra inspired ecosystem.
- R FOctober 11, 2016Great zoo with a great price. The animals were actually active during this visit (Sunday afternoon). The orangutans were very friendly and played catch with us. Food was average, typical for a zoo.
- Aaron KinnMarch 12, 2011Get there when the zoo opens and go directly to the amazing bird enclosure. Buy a food stick and birds will swarm you to eat. If you don't get here until noon the birds are full!
- Kristina HughesFebruary 4, 2014One of my favorite zoos on the planet! Habitats are clean and feel very natural. Visited in the fall w/great weather for activity. Zoo is huge so get there early.
- David WallisAugust 9, 2014The best zoo around! Lots of places to sit. Good food, great souvenirs. And the animals look so happy.
- Young KweenFebruary 22, 2017Very clean for a zoo, staff us friendly and I love the variety of animals they have :)
- Sharon AllenMarch 18, 2016We had a great time. Try to get here as early as possible and bring a cooler with drinks & snacks
- Melissa PerkinsNovember 14, 2017This is by far the best zoo. They had blocks of ice in the areas to keep the animals cool.
- Wendi McClendonNovember 6, 2011Don't miss the "parrot" paradise- really parakeets and cockatiels- spend a little on seed sticks, but DoNot let your kids be the ones holding them right when you walk in. Birds flock to them crazily.
- Oh how fun. Even in the rain we had a blast seeing all the animals and the baby elephants are so cute! And you don't realize how big it actually is until you get in there!
- Sondus AtaAugust 13, 2017Love how they organized that place ... it need minimum 3 hours to take a full tour and enjoy all parts
- Dawn GuerreroSeptember 9, 2014If you go in the spring, you will get to see almost every animal they have to offer. Summer & winter are not the times you want to visit
- Mya HoweSeptember 3, 2018Clean, interesting, not too time consuming (3hrs to tour), and somewhatt cheap (about $15 per adult).
- Jeff DixonMarch 14, 2011Great zoo. Big enough to use the train back, thank God! A big hit with my son! Wouldn't advise a winter trip, lots of the best animals are keeping warm out of site!
- Valentin Marquez IIIMay 30, 2015Absolutely love this zoo, hands down best zoo around. Bird cage walk in is awesome.

- Steph FrancoJuly 26, 2013Bring your own water/drinks if you can, all the walking works up a thrust and can end up getting costly buying waters!
- DeimosSeptember 20, 2015Great Biome recreations, clean facilities, superb staff. This zoo is world class!
- Kate RottmanFebruary 28, 2013Half price on Wednesday. Cost to take the train and to do anything inside. The lizards are super awesome.
- Keith MilliganJuly 6, 2013Bring ya own cooler full of drinks and snacks. The food prices are robbery, like going to the movies. LOL
- Chaz BranchJuly 2, 2014Half price Wednesdays! If you buy online and cannot print the confirmation, just open it on a smartphone and zoom to the barcode. The park readers will scan it!
- Jamie RodriguezJune 2, 2012Dont ride the train first thing. Only if on far end of zoo toyou go to entrance. Also squirrels are friendly, carry a couple peanuts.
- Brian ScottJanuary 12, 2013Awesome zoo but if you're going in the off-season pack a lunch because only like 2 food stands are open.
- Gomas BastonSeptember 1, 2013It was as HOT as Hades, but we still had a great time with the kiddos!!
- jacob johnsonFebruary 17, 2021Fort Worth Zoo at 19 minutes drive to the north of Sycamore Smiles Pediatric Dentistry
- Batya SeguinAugust 23, 2016So much fun with the whole family. Still feel sorry for the animals being confined.
- Red HoarDecember 30, 2011Can be very cheap. Bring picnic lunch, bring a wagon, bring water. Bring hats, sunscreen, and binoculars.
- Alex RossMay 29, 2013Try going during the week, if you go here on weekend be prepared the place is a zoo.
- Tim HaynesAugust 28, 2011I would suggest that the zoo catch the thousands of honey bees at the garbage can and put them on display in a honey comb!!! Or they could make the bees check their stingers at the gate. Just sayin'
- Aaron BrownMay 22, 2016I've been to the Dallas, Houston, San Antonio, and El Paso and it is by far the best zoo.
- Dennis ChesserApril 26, 2014Awesome place had lots of fun. Bring plenty of money 20oz soda is 3 bux.

- Chloe FernandezMay 5, 2010This place is HUGE. Haven't been here in awhile. I love both the Dallas Zoo, and this zoo. Still, captivity makes me sad. Yes I have a love/hate relationship with zoos.
