Rachel HillAugust 8, 2013This Zoo is my favorite to go to eventually built it's own. The Ft. Worth zoo offers a variety of animals and plenty of shade. My favorite aspect is the "underground" aquarium view of the Penguins.Upvoted 3 weeks ago

R FOctober 11, 2016Great zoo with a great price. The animals were actually active during this visit (Sunday afternoon). The orangutans were very friendly and played catch with us. Food was average, typical for a zoo.
Aaron KinnMarch 12, 2011Get there when the zoo opens and go directly to the amazing bird enclosure. Buy a food stick and birds will swarm you to eat. If you don't get here until noon the birds are full!

Wendi McClendonNovember 6, 2011Don't miss the "parrot" paradise- really parakeets and cockatiels- spend a little on seed sticks, but DoNot let your kids be the ones holding them right when you walk in. Birds flock to them crazily.
Oh how fun. Even in the rain we had a blast seeing all the animals and the baby elephants are so cute! And you don't realize how big it actually is until you get in there!
