If you need an ATM go to the post office. Most of kamakura's interesting places are to the east side, but there's a trendy sausage place on the west side.

If you came by JR and want to continue on Enoden line you have to go to a different section of the station but it’s easy - just follow the signs

Crowded small station, little confusing about the busy stops - if you turn to the left there is a main shopping street with lots of places to eat!

Station is set up weird. It's very crowded in the pedestrian area but there's tons of room in the cars area

グリーン車乗車位置には注意が必要。横須賀線11両編成、15両編成と湘南新宿ライン10両は階段付近ですが。湘南新宿ライン15両編成はホーム事務室付近です。

大仏行くなら、出てすぐ左の江ノ電バス。1番乗り場から日中は10～15分間隔。乗車時間も10分少々と、江ノ電乗るより10円高いけど便利です。

JR東日本と江ノ島電鉄の共同使用駅。現在は自動改札で直接乗り換えが出来ず分離されていますが、江ノ島電鉄側にある硬券入場券はJRに合わせた150円となっている(他の駅は200円)。

ゴールデンウィークなんかは人でごった返します。江ノ電は混みすぎてホームにすら入れないことがあるので注意。

JR鎌倉までの切符しか持ってない人は一旦まっすぐ改札を出て江ノ電の切符をかいましょう
