- Echo HuOctober 2, 2016This is a place I recommend, it's popular and hard to get a table if you wanna have food here, but it's worth the wait!super good music you feel so relaxed it's certainly my favorite in town,so far!
- Johnnie LustozaAugust 10, 2015Great place for local craft beers once it serves their own craftbrewed beer. It's also served specialty beers from around the world. Great live music everyday. This place is a must go in Dublin.
- ChrisAugust 27, 2016Great beer choice and their own brewed Hop Head is a must. Staff are friendly and food is good. Tourists? Yes, but it still retains its Irish charm.
- Fabian MartinOctober 10, 2022Cute and very big pub with a good selection of Irish beers (and Belgian ones for some reason). There were some guests playing live music in the corner which was a very cool touch!
- Alèxia SoléNovember 20, 2016Although the place is great if U R a beer lover, we were not served properly: we were left more than 1/2 an h. w/o beeing asked. This is because the place is overcrowded. But have great local beer.
- MatthiasMarch 17, 20153 (or was it 4!?) levels of a great pub! The beer selection is very good. A lot of bar space so I never had to wait too long for my next beer. 😊 The food is also great!
- Rozina SzőgyényiOctober 19, 2014Try a 3x200 ml beer sample for,€5.50! My favorites were the stouts and Hop Head. The service is great, friendly, good recommendations.
- Rachel ClarkJanuary 4, 2017The Plain Porter is one of the best porters I've had anywhere in the world. As close to a perfect beer as there is. The cheddar bake, sticky toffee pudding, and live trad music are awesome as well.
- Mayara BarrosJanuary 12, 2016My personal favorite pub in town. The food is great, but the main attraction is the craft beer. Sooooo good and different from anywhere else in Dublin. Super recommend.
- Bas HofMay 10, 2018Perfect Selection of great self brewed beers. Also wines on the menu. You can eat upstairs. Busy, but relaxed people. Not too many tourist and not a trap either..
- Anna RachmannOctober 22, 2018Lovely place, plenty of space inside and lots of choice from around the world. Really welcoming staff and great beers! Make sure you go for the in house brews as they’re awesome and cheaper!
- Jico BaligodMay 18, 2013It can get pretty packed, you might be circling a while to grab a table (but hang in there!) As far as drinks go, try the Oyster Stout or the Plain Porter. Both give Guinness a run for its money.
- Anastasia BeaverhausenJanuary 28, 2016This is one of my favourite pubs in Dublin! Good food and great great beer! Their craft beer is very good (especially the An Brain Blasta) and they have an amazing selection of many other beers!
- Max SteerJanuary 1, 2018Best Beer. Oysters, Porterhouse Stouts (yes there is a life after Guiness and it’s very good) Fish and Chips. Nice service. No Mussels- a reason to come back!
- Gustavo ToledoAugust 16, 2016Great beers, good food, friendly and cheerful atmosphere. Every day a great band playing great music. My tip is to go on Mondays enjoy the band "Ten Tousand Hours" playing a great pop-rock.
- Daniel PollardMarch 23, 2015Some of the best beers in Dublin. Great atmosphere. If you're going on a Friday night be prepared to wait for a table. Tasty food. Friendly staff.
- Esin A.October 18, 2013Try their own-brewed beers if you're a try-everything-new person! You can select 3 of 'em for 5 euros. Stouts are heavy, ales are spicy and lagers are light ones.
- Mary CarrollAugust 28, 2017We had dinner here, the food was top quality and the service friendly and attentive. The decor is beautiful with lots of natural light coming in through the glass dome. Well worth a visit.
- Jerring HuSeptember 10, 2019It’s a great place to chill with ur friends!! They have several floors n also live music. Don’t miss it when u r in Dublin!!
- Cearúilín Ni RiainDecember 6, 2011Four floors with varied music; packed on weekends, great beers, as well as Guinness; they brew their own. Bit cramped to get food; when people finish their food they stay put, so get in early.
- Gustavs ZatlersMay 14, 2015Place for beer lovers, lot of different beer avaiable! Great atmosfere, I don't remember what food i ate,but beers were great!
- Lisa YMay 26, 2018Of their own brewery, Nitro Red and Plain Porter are great. The fish and chips is very good too.
- BeauJuly 2, 2015One of the best bars in Dublin. The Old Fashioned hit the spot! Plenty of common and craft beers on the menu.
- Alfred M.September 21, 2017Impressive collection of beers on tap, in bottle and on display. Enjoyed the live acoustic cover band.
- Tobias NegeleAugust 20, 2015I've been here every time we visited Dublin. It's always great to have a burger and Plain Porter there. Love that place.
- Definitely prefer the Grafton street one. Strawberry daiquiri was disappointing, huge chunks of ice and not sweet enough. The loyalty card is a great idea but only works with their own brews.
- Art GarciaMarch 18, 2018As far as bars go in Dublin it’s a pretty young bar being established in 1996 but it’s a great place
- Rocco StabelliniSeptember 18, 2012This is my favourite Pub in Dublin, one of the best in Ireland for sure. Sorry Arthur G. but their stout is far better then yours ;)
- Ozan SahinFebruary 14, 2016Good local beer and good live music. The spirit of Dublin. I straightaway come here everytime I visit Dublin.
- Mike DFebruary 14, 2015Great pub! Can't go wrong here. Live music, huge selection of home brewed beer, 4 floors. Seating can be limited but lots of space to stand.
- jace bakerAugust 13, 2013The Oyster Stout might be the best stout I've had in a while (toasty, sweet, briny, still light), pairs nicely with the Irish lamb stew. Great spot.
- MackGarySeptember 9, 2013Easiest the best pub in Dublin! You have to taste all their draftbeer they have made themselves. Now they have three different stouts, four ales and three lager. An brain blasta is da shit!!
- Jit BPFebruary 26, 2015A Dublin institution. Try some of their craft beers and don't ask for Guinness; they don't have any. Hop head and oyster stout are best!
- TempleBar TradfestMarch 4, 2011They have 3 stouts, 3 ales & 3 lagers. It's Irelands largest genuine Irish Brewery. Try an original pint & their steak sandwich. Live music 7 nights a week. Buy the beer to take home as a gift!
- Marthe SørflatenFebruary 5, 2018It was okey food. Try the chicken wings With the spicy sause and the beer of the day :) Plus for the good irish music!
- Nadine VisserAugust 13, 2019Many drafts including their own and guest taps. Nice ambiance and very friendly staff.
- Luca SalviniNovember 16, 2011If you love beer Porterhouse is definitely one of the places you can't miss in Dublin. Get a Plain Porter if you love stout beers, it's incredibly good.Service is sometimes terrible, unfortunately
- Jonathan JanssensAugust 19, 2017Good drink selection, food is ok at best and pretty expensive. Tasting flight of 3 third pints for €6 is pretty good
- Renate MaAugust 11, 2018Great food, reasonable prices, great choice of draft beer, bottle beer from all over the world, nice atmosphere.
- Raj S.October 19, 2014Lots of great beer in case you get sick of Guinness in Dublin (blasphemous, I know, but it is real and can happen). Food isn't that great but doesn't matter.
- Ville KauppiAugust 29, 2015Fell in love with the place with all those different floors! The oyster stout was amazing. I mean amazing!
- Lasse HoffmannMarch 4, 2018Great craft beers brewed inhouse. Live music almost every night. Lively place with lots of atmosphere.
- M SDecember 20, 2019Easily the best bar in temple bar area. Clean, cosily lit, friendly staff. The only downside is the lack of G.
- Klaus HiebertAugust 23, 2015The Plain Porter really beats a pint of Guinness. Also, you should try the Hop Head. It's a fantastic IPA.
- Constantine ZuevApril 30, 2016Livid place, awesome music and... Definitely the best porter I've tried!
- Joséphine Dubois CapiauxSeptember 2, 2015You must try the Honey Floris ! The belgian beers are always the best, haha. :D The irish stew was delicious.
- Nick van MierloMay 14, 2015Best beer selection in Dublin, good live music and awesome chicken wings.
- Brian ClayJuly 3, 2013Recommends the Chicken curry, the bacon loin, the wings, and the awesome chocolate cake!...not all in one sitting of course...
- Ben EngenSeptember 1, 2022Dublin's original brew pub. Cool space with a good selection right in the heart of tourist country.
