Rooms clean and fun, but beds not most comfortable in the city.- Joseph CAugust 10, 2014Fitting for "Hipster Central", Downtown Portland- this European backpacking traveler-ish hotel comes cozy but, cool like any AirB&B you might pay astronomical prices for.
- Walk 400 feet to the famous Powell Books at 1005 Burnside St.; bring your purchase back to the hotel; enjoy with some Stumptown coffee while people-watching in the lobby. Pure Portland heaven!

On Friday at 3 am they start collecting recycling from the bars outside- sound of bottles being dumped from high distances for hours!
Alex BrehmJanuary 17, 2014Referred to as "The Deuce Hotel" in Portlandia S1 E5. Some rooms really do come with turntables and complimentary bikes.
Rooms with double beds are on the front side aka the loud side of the hotel. Be prepared to listen to recycling bins being dumped at the wee hours and it sounds like it's right in your room.
