You had better visit Yebisu Garden Place Tower. It's free and has scenic view for Tokyo skyscrapers.

Both the Atre malls have a good set of shops in them. The station has a really good bakery by the west exit.

The station has a nice indoor walking area with people movers. Also the trains play the yebisu beer jingle when the doors close

At the West Exit near Doutour Cafe you can often spot girls waiting for their Johns and taking them to the hotels around the corner. How many can you spot in an hour. 1 point for each.

Stand near the escalator by the West Exit (near the police box) and watch people. Ebisu is a wonderful spot.

名前の由来はヱビスビールを製造販売していた日本麦酒醸造会社の工場に隣接する山手線上に、1901年、ビール出荷専用の貨物駅として開設されたことによる。ビールの商標にちなみ、駅名も「恵比寿」（当初「ゑびす」）と命名される。駅開設当時の地名は「下渋谷」であった。後に、工場周辺を「ゑびす」と呼ぶようになり、1928年に駅周辺の地名も「恵比寿通」と名付けられた。駅前の恵比寿神社は、戦後に成立したものである。

エレベーターは各ホームの中央に一機あり、新宿側の改札口に出られます。ガーデンプレイス方面へ出る場合も、いったん新宿側改札を出る必要あり。

サッポロビールの商品名ヱビスと恵比寿ガーデンプレイスのローマ字表記は「YEBISU」であるが、地名と駅名の表記は「EBISU」である。

たまにお花売りのロバが出現します。ロータリー側のひまわり薬局前にはウサギさんも出現します。タコ公園にはロケ部隊が出現。UFJ前でダースベーダーに出会ったこともありますw。素敵な街ですノ

湘南新宿ライン・埼京線上り列車から原宿駅・代々木駅に行きたい場合は、渋谷駅よりも恵比寿駅で乗り換えた方が便利です。

西口改札を出てすぐのところ（みどりの窓口付近）に mobile point（Wifi）が飛んでいるので便利。iPhoneでのSkype通話も可能。
