Shopping for flu shots has turned up inflated 2012 vs 2011 prices of $31 at both CVS and Walgreens, pre-insurance coverage. Surprisingly high for a service that has been well-priced for years.- Take a flu shot through New Year's, CVS website says it will give $5 in extra bucks to Extra Care loyalty customers.
The Arizona canned tea is the best! Go for the green tea flavored ones!- Good time to shop late summer promos, basics to discretionaries (Haagen-Daz, eg.)
The up side to using a self-serve kiosk? You're reminded to use the courtesy Extra Care card for discounts.- Scan your CVS Extra Care card at the start of your store visit for Extra Bucks and coupons.
- This Greenwich Village CVS says it is still stocking Tylenol, unlike 50% of CVS stores in the US, which are said to be cutting it out while production is limited.
- Extreme chocolate's at the self checkouts: Kit Kat minis and M&M Megas.
The staff has been sidelined by horrible "self-service" machines that constantly require repairs and overrides. Prices should go down if we're doing the labor.

Erin CallihanAugust 18, 2011The absolute worst run store in the city. They need to get rid of the self serve kiosks (which haven't worked since they opened), get rid of the "greeter" at the door, and hire some cashiers!- Scan your CVS card before shopping for coupons and extra buck$.
- Print magazine fans have no fear. The magazine rack has been moved south, to aisle 2.
Rudest pharmacy techs this side of the Mississippi!!!
