Dani CJuly 13, 2015Gorgeous lake though it's a little to close to the main drag for my personal taste. They have lots to do including fishing,trails, and boat rentals.
Nice 9 mile lap around the lake, very scenic, and clean. Good place to spend the day & enjoy the weather. There is a place where you can rent kayaks at the corner of Mockingbird & E lawther =O
A pretty lake. Great place for kayaks and sailboats. The paved trail around the lake is quite popular with runners.
Beautiful lake within Dallas! However can sometimes be overcrowded on weekends. If you’re wanting more seclusion, try rainy days or mid week. Great walking trail and some scattered picnic table areas.

ZocDocOctober 20, 2011White Rock Lake Park boasts a gorgeous 9.3 mile biking trail... take full advantage of it! If you don’t have a bike already, there are several nearby shops that can rent you a bike for about $35.
No better place to run or bike in Dallas. It's a great trail with beautiful views of downtown.

HISTORYApril 5, 2010White Rock Lake has 9-plus miles of waterfront trails. Those who enjoy bird watching will find that the lake attracts a wide variety of birds; especially the green parrots at the south end of the lake
Watch out for the cormorants roosting at north end of Lake near trail leading to pedestrian bridge. They will bomb you with extreme prejudice!
Vince PoscenteAugust 5, 2011Shhhh Don't tell anyone. City has done a great job fixing up the trails and the lake's surroundings. If it weren't for some overzealous tree pruning it would be perfect. Motorists please drive slow.
Drive down Fisher Road with your date to the edge of the lake, and watch for the ghost of the Lady of the Lake to appear. If you don't see the Lady of the Lake, just make out.

Great place to walk and clear your head. Then set up a hammock and chill.
It is the exercise mecca of Dallas. It's a good bike ride and everyone is courteous and respectful.

This bench would be a great date spot. There's even a heart carved into the huge tree trunk.

One of my favorite spots in Dallas. You can rent it out too!
