Get a citibike and cycle the bridge. Its awesome. Take your bike to waterfront for a hell of a view. Do not forget to return it before your 30 mins run out. And be sure to ring your bell on ghe bridge

Visit it in non peak hours if you want to be able to enjoy it. Fanstastic views of the city to be had. If you're visiting in the winter or on a cold day, wrap up as its very exposed out there.
Never realised how gorgeous this bridge was until I walked it. Amazing detail! Definitely walk this bridge from Brooklyn into manhattan or vice Versa, it's a 2 mile walk so wear comfyshoes.
Come here during sunset for an amazing scenic view of NYC's skyline. Don't walk on the cyclist's path, there's a pedestrian path too. Allocate at least 20 minutes or more to walk through the bridge.

Good view of the city!!! Very crowded. If on foot, be sure to stay off the bike path, which is half of the promenade. Best food selection on the Manhattan side of the bridge, in the adjacent park.
It’s so magical here, esp if you go during sunset when the sky changes colors every minute and you’re able to experience NYC transfer from day to night. Beware tho, it can get quite cold on the bridge

My recommendation is to walk from the Manhattan side to the Brooklyn side and then ear at Grimaldis Pizza on the BK side and enjoy Brooklyn Bridge Park. So pretty!
As you reach the start of the cables walking across the bridge, shoot straight ahead. The arch closest to Manhattan as well as the middle of the bridge also offers spectacular vistas of the city.
Go early or late and you won't have to battle the crowds of tourists. It's narrow with bikes and lots of people. Especially problematic on nice days in peak tourist months.
