- This is a great airport, clean, easy to navigate, and I've never waited longer than 5 mins in the TSA line. Skip waiting for the shuttle and use the moving walkways instead if in a rush.Upvoted 1 week ago
- Kayla SpellingOctober 1, 2014Free wifi, which is always a win, super clean, efficient and all around a pleasant experience for being in an airport. Great job CVG!Upvoted 2 weeks ago
- Cincinnati History PhotosDecember 12, 2011CVG was built as a training base for the Army Air Corps during WWII. After the war, it was converted to civilan service, hosting the first flight on 1/10/47. Artist's rendition courtesy nkyviews.com. Read moreUpvoted Feb 16
- R BFebruary 13, 2015Never have had a problem or a long wait to get my baggage inspected. The restaurants and shops are fine and they do have free wifi.Upvoted 1 week ago
- kaiJanuary 4, 2014Loving the Graeter's kiosk - indulge in the pre-packaged serving cups. Oprah's favorite is the black raspberry chip & Nick Lachey's is mint chip. They are also known for their cheese crowns (pastry).
- Thirsty JamesSeptember 30, 2014Quiet, they sort their trash, tons of outlets, and free wifi. Nice connector Delta!
- If you want chili, get Skyline over Gold Star. For a treat, get a scoop (or two) of Graeter’s—you won’t regret it!
- Alfred KateebMay 22, 2017One of the top 10 Airports in the USA. In love with this airport ... I miss Cincy my home town.
- Organized, clean, and nice staff. One of my fav airports in the states. Not crowded
- Nice, quite airport with decent food options and lots of space for working, relaxing, recharging devices.
- This airport really is pretty darn big. Plenty of shops and eateries to go to while you wait to get on your flight.
- Great kids play area near gate A10. Mural of cockpit and play controls. Besides the moving walkways, it's the only thing for kids to do in Concourse A.
- Joanna FlammJuly 8, 2013Check out the candy store: three walls of bulk candy, including one that's all dark chocolate covered awesomeness. Malt balls for the flight!
- Nice, clean airport with friendly staff. Try Bruegger’s Bagels at the food court for authentic New York-style bagels.
- The Chick-Fil-A breakfast sandwich is mighty tasty if you need a quick breakfast
- Experience the Goldstar chili. The Cincinnati style chili...you can have it three ways or five ways. and don't forget about your cheese Coney! That's located in terminal 3 Concourse B.
- TJDecember 9, 2019If you buy a book from the store to the left of security you can return it at any participating airport within 6 months and get 50% of your money back!
- Free wi-fi, security always moves fast. Not a ton of food options, wish there were more direct flights and that it didn't cost an arm and a leg to fly out of there.
- Steve GoodJuly 30, 2013Don't forget to pickup a few cans of the sweet, sweet nectar that is Skyline Chili.
- Douglass L.April 21, 2013TSA is the best here. Friendly, great smiles and truly beautiful people. I guess there is a great side to Kentucky!
- Chris SylviaJuly 22, 2013Great seating area at the gates - they all have electrical outlets for your electronic products. Great service!
- Karen O'HaraOctober 7, 2014Graeter's kiosk at A10 makes the trip worthwhile! Good access to chraging and workspace, too.
- Avery JenkinsOctober 9, 2012Please check to make sure you seat belt is securely fastened. Your seat back and tray table are in the full upright and locked position & all carry-on luggage is placed completely underneath the seat.
- Karen JohnsonNovember 28, 2015From Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport to Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky Airport it is an hour flight. It's been 10 years since I have been in this airport
- Erin LedbetterApril 10, 2013Max & Erma's in terminal B is just as good if not better than the chain in the real world! Totally worth the wait if you have a few minutes to spare.
- @MisterHirschOctober 14, 2011Terminal 2 could possibly have the small gates ever... One row of 12 seats, a small desk to check you in, and a flat screen with the flight info. It's like the lobby in your doctor's office.
- Moe DexlerJuly 28, 2017Very interesting fossilized animals in the B terminal are worth looking at, if you have minute to spare.
- John WiggsJanuary 14, 2015Charley's cheese steak. Excellent and the lady at the counter was polite and pleasant even rushed.
- Mike AldenJanuary 13, 2018Great atmosphere. Great service. Very clean. Good direct flight options to Orlando
- Cincinnati History PhotosDecember 12, 2011The Greater Cincinnati Airport (as it was called) uses the IATA call sign CVG because Covington, KY was the closest city of any size when the airport was built. Photo from 1957. Courtesy nkyviews.com Read more
- Deepak PhadnisMay 24, 2016A number of restaurants in concourse B. But I found them all closed around 11 AM on a weekday
- To get a taxi you have to checkin with the taxi desk inside - they offer to prepay with credit and tell you the can number that's coming to get you. A bit different, but not bad.
- Brueggers in T2 has great coffee - from Green Mountain Coffee Roasters. Try the special French Toast blend, but its usually only available in Jan/Feb.
- Toni D'EramoMay 25, 2013If you want to try Cincinnati style chili get out of the airport and go to Skyline Chili. There's only Gold Star here and their chili is bland- just doesn't cut it. 😝
- Jackson GallagherAugust 28, 2014A dilapidating delta hub with less and less flights every year and the cost to fly through CVG on Delta is way higher than other Ohio airports (DAY, CMH) but the Delta Sky Club is usually empty.
- Byron WilkesJune 16, 2016Weird sort of airport, one you'd expect to have more shuttered storefronts. Notable lack of patrons at most places. One terminal has a Samuel Adams taproom across the hall from a Samuel Adams taproom.
- Riley RoudebushApril 4, 2014The bologna sandwiches in Starbucks are extremely delicious. Highly recommend the Oscar Meyer.
- Neil TOctober 11, 2012Unless you have a gimp with a limp it is far faster to walk security to A or A to baggage claim. If you have giddy up in your gallup you can go end to end by hoof faster than rail. Avoid time waste!
- If you fly out in the morning and don't get Chik Fil A for breakfast, you are a chump.Upvoted Jan 17
- Travel FriendJuly 22, 2012Some of the friendliest TSA personnel I have come across. They were helpful and polite.
- Hop & Cast by B gates is a nice place to have a beverage and burger. Good service and food..
- dereqAugust 12, 2014The aircraft observation area has picnic tables and benches overlooking CVG's main runway.
- Practice yoga while you are here! Visit www.theyogabar.net to see when the next class is! Namaste and welcome to Cincinnati!
- Jamie WigginsJune 26, 2014All the staff, including the TSA Agents are very friendly and give great service!
- We always get an herby turkey sandwich for the flight from brueggers bagels. 90% of time we are through security in 10 mins.
- Great spacious airport with well maintained terminals, no overcrowding, expensive flights.
- The train between concourses is very regular. And by "regular" I mean "hardly ever". You are better of taking the healthy route of walking
