Matteo VranckenSeptember 16, 2016As a Belgian I was amazed they had 'Orval' beer. It's not so easy to find, even in Belgium itself. Don't drink it from the bottle & Leave the bottom out as it has some sediment in it.
Cory BrownApril 11, 2016Crowded on a Sunday afternoon. Lots of selection from organic fruits and veggies to craft beers. I enjoyed shopping but hated the rush and swarms of people.
Wegmans is consistantly rated the best grocery store in the nation and this is its best store in Syracuse. Just don't go sunday nights (restocking) or weekday evenings (huge rush).

On certain days, there's a ceasar salad bar beside the coffee in the cafe. Best I've ever had; actually makes me *want* to eat a salad!
Losing its appeal in Dewitt. Becoming a BJ's with big lots and only 2 brands, Wegman's and a higher priced alternative popular brand. Lost its specialty cheeses and meats selections.
Fantastic bakery -- the rosemary olive oil bread is amazing! Buy two; they go fast
Best place in the area to purchase just about anything. You name it, they have it, more likely than not. Great customer service, high quality store brand products, bakery fresh foods to die for!
The one in Dewitt has the best organic section, seafood section, and sushi section in town. Other Wegmans still have the regular stuff but not as nice as this one.

Also try their pulled pork.- While there are many Wegmans stores in the area, this one is the big daddy of them all. Do some food shopping, eat some lunch in the giant dining area...you may never leave ;)

Good prepared food selections. Need to work on getting nutritional values on all items.

What a nut house on Sundays! But a beautiful store with an enormous assortment of things
order the $6 meal and take it to go (case across from deli) so good! one meat, two sides.
If you need a large quantity of baked goods quickly this is the only place in Syracuse. Got ten dozen assorted rolls and eight baggettes in five minutes.
Make sure you stop by the cheese market - they give samples and Brian is a cheese expert!! :)

Delicious food @ the cafe, and you can also have a lot of fun while food shopping!!!!!
I don't get excited about supermarkets but I DO get excited about Wegmans! Paradise!
- They mostly carry their own brands and overprice competitive products. BJs is cheaper for national brands
- Sometimes what looks like impressive variety turns out, up close, to just be shelf after shelf of Wegman's own brand products.
- Worst time to come: weekday evening rush hour and Sunday evenings. Best time to come: Wednesday & Thursday at Noon, when they finish restocking.

Whatever you do, stay away from the seafood and the cookies!
Go visit the cheese lady. She'll give you free cheese.
If you need a helping hand, ask for Dan Griffin-Nolan. He is 6'6, has red hair and is always smiling!
