University of California, DavisSeptember 21, 2010The Amtrak station has lots of very pleasant and comfortable benches & is a great study spot! Grab a pizza slice from Village Bakery while you're here.- If your train is packed and you dont want to share a table with someone there is almost always seating in the cafe car open
- Keep an eye on the track for your train. Sometimes a train thats been delayed by 5 minutes in the system will arrive and leave at its normal time.
The parking lot fills up by 6:30 on weekdays. But you can sometimes snag a spot from commuters coming off an arriving train.

There is a kiosk on the outside of the station now. No need to drag you luggage inside the building and out again.
