- What a find! A thick milkshake is a must for starters; choc chip was amazing. Followed up with a great burger and fries with skins on. Service was great in a real friendly traditional diner.
- Whit MaullJune 18, 2015Can't beat the vibe inside this place. You'll be in a great mood before you get your food, and an even better mood after.
- Derrick YuNovember 19, 2015During weekend brunch hours this place is busy, so come extra early/late or expect a wait. The menu is filled with american classics. Delicious food and huge portions.
- This is perhaps my favorite restaurant in the world! Could eat all 3 meals here for weeks and not get sick of it. Everything from the bakery is awesome! (4 of 4 petals via Fondu) Read more
- Marc KatsambisJanuary 24, 2019The hash pie was super crispy and tasty. I ordered the eggs over easy, which was a mistake - too runny for my liking. Regretted not ordering a slice of house made pie though.

- All the best parts of a diner without the crappy food. I lived in Brooklyn for 5 years and this is the best diner I've ever been to. Don't leave without a shake or pie (or both).
- If you get a milkshake to go, ask for it in two cups, otherwise they end up throwing some out. Make sure you get all 2000 calories.

- A reliable downtown institution. Get the sausages and eggs (or the hashbrown pie) and a peppermint shake. And a pixie stick for a dime at the register.
- Greg YardleyJuly 29, 2013The intentional misspelling of 'breakfast' on the menu makes a vein in my forehead twitch. If you know you'll also be bothered by this, get a friend to order for you.
- Really original Huevos Rancheros. You just have to add avocado and that's it!
- Kirk HerlitzApril 22, 2015Great diner style food in a cool retro atmosphere. Definitely not a cheap diner, but the portions are generous!
- Natalie S.April 19, 2014Tuna melt is so awesome on wheat bread with tomato. Best one I've found so far in the South Bay Area.

- Earl T. GreyJune 8, 2012Bread is super fresh and tasty. I've never had a bad meal at either Palo Alto location. I will say that the cost is high for a diner.
- Angel RAugust 24, 2013I would probably only go back for onion rings and/or a milk shake. I was very displeased with the food and the service.
