- Dress for the DateOctober 15, 2013Victor Bergeron in 1936 became known as Trader Vic. The contemporary cuisine and cocktails are memorable. Try the Coconut Prawns.
- Jeff McDanielMarch 18, 2010Try out the Original Mai Tai, and The Stinker. The best drinks you can get in LA for around $10. Any drink here kills any expensive beer you could get at any trendy LA bar.
- Michelle VillaJanuary 23, 2011Crispy Duck and Rack of Lamb are Delicious. Mai Tai= two sips of booze and entire cup full of crushed ice. After all the hype we were disappointed. Food and ambiance were great though.
- Scott MarkusJune 12, 2013Do not miss the amazing happy hour that starts at 10pm. Barbara is also the greatest server ever.
- Best cocktails in LA. Coffee grog is pretty amazing too. My new fav spot, for rum lovers!
- MicheleDecember 13, 2012Delicious. But today needed to wait 1.5 hours after being seated for our food.
- Suzy MaeJuly 30, 2010The Menehune: sweet, sour, and powerful. Take a stand and have several. Look out for the menehune visions... She's a little demon
- As you can see, I didn't enjoy the Won Ton soup much at all, heh.
- Emily BruneApril 25, 2010Most amazing food! Anything you get here will be delicious! Wish they had one in St. Louis!
- skip the food & go straight for the booze, you girl drink drunk. you'll see the kitschy $10 tiki drinks are worth it once they creep up on you.
- Kevin WhiteFebruary 1, 2011try a $5 mai tai just for checking in. follow with a rum keg. they claim it serves four, but it's really for two... or maybe one.
- Try the Mai Tai "from scratch". It's stronger and better than the standard one they make.
- Nicole TempelApril 24, 2011Yuk! Had unfortunately bad food. Went here fir brunch and had French toast that tasted like the bottom of someones foot. I loved the ambiance and maybe cocktails are good but skip the food
- Mystery StopperNovember 20, 2011Rude hostess. Large awkward chairs. Over a 15 minute wait for water. Wait staff did not return for entree order. With so many fine choices in the city, why settle for Vic's - You deserve better.
- Rich GunnMay 27, 2013Here's a tip. If you're not OPEN, then the logical thing to do would be to advertise it with perhaps a CLOSED sign. Very disappointed in-laws on Memorial Day. You guys now officially suck.
- Steve CesareAugust 4, 2013Fine to me but... Service for other sucked... Manager should have planned for a busy weekend with X-games in town...
- Tom WengMay 28, 2012Stay away from the turkey burger. Honestly the worst I've ever had. Ranch dressing is way watered down also.
- Jeana PassyMarch 31, 2011Super slow service. Prepare to spend at least an hour for one round of drinks and a couple apps.
- This bar is indeed the happiest place on earth. Screw Disneyland.
- Rick RodriguezDecember 11, 2009worst place @ LA Live. Food is marginal at best. BBQ sliders were DRY, fries were trying to be "tropical flavored" instead of just french fry flavored. Hidden step is dangerous.
