Main square together with Market Square (Grote Markt). The place where major activities are arranged in Antwerp and a union point for tourists and locals. Perfect spot where to start visiting Antwerp
In stead of parking in the expensive underground parking, try parking at van eeden square. It's only one underground stop away and freeUpvoted 1 week ago- Groenplaats did not get his name because of its color but because it used to be a cemetery called groenerkerkhof. When they redid the square and the underground parking spots they dug up the graves.
- In 1803 the Groenplaats was a poor mans cemetery. It's known that with the destruction of the cemetery the workforce wasn't so precise. So it's possible that under you are still some bodies... Boo!

Ga op ongeveer 20 m van het standbeeld van Rubens staan aan de zijde van het Hilton hotel en kijk richting het standbeeld. 🍆
Voor de heren: gratis WC te vinden aan de poort van de kathedraal!
