- Very good design of the airport. Everything clear and easy to find. On the way out from arrival floor, south gate, stick to the left and you will see SIM card vending machines for prepaid internet.Upvoted 2 hours ago
- Petros RigasMarch 17, 2015Great variety of foods & snacks from all over Japan. If you're looking for Royce Chocolate, you've found it. Prices are truly "Duty Free". U can easily tell by visiting any of the high-end shops.Upvoted 3 weeks ago
- Bryan TanJune 23, 2013If you're taking a late flight out at the end of a long day, ¥500 gives you 30min to grab a shower at the KIX Refresh Cabin; the transit lounge also has complimentary drinks and massage chairs!Upvoted 4 weeks ago
- Klaus BudinegaraJune 29, 2012Free wifi is very difficult to find in Osaka, so use the free wifi in KIX to buy the cheapest data sim card here http://www.bmobile.ne.jp/english/u300_visitor.html and have it delivered to your hotel.Upvoted Mar 1

- Matt Ta-MinDecember 18, 2019Very efficient airport that is easy to use. Immigration checks are automated and customs takes next to no time to get through. Then there is a Japan rail station directly next to it. Super convenient.
- Noctis LouieJanuary 23, 2019A large selection of food choices (way more delicious than your average airport restaurants). Efficient immigration and very convenient for travelling to the rest of the country.
- Azu AlhusaynanJanuary 14, 2018What an airport, you can get all you need to get your trip started. If you are traveling in Japan. I recommend you to purchase the nation wide JR pass, and a sim card with unlimited data ☺️
- Kenneth ReyesFebruary 13, 2015Amazing airport. SIM cards can be found on far right side once you exit customs and enter arrivals hall. They're in vending machines. Can also try SoftBank desk if arriving before 9pm
- Rapit Train is the best for getting to Namba Station(Southern Osaka downtown). Haruka(JR) is the best for getting to Kyoto Station. Limousine is the best for getting to Umeda(Northern Osaka downtown).
- Alessandro CandeoSeptember 30, 2016Osaka int'l hub is seamlessly connected to the city in many different ways (train, ferry, bus) so you don't need an expensive (16,000¥) taxi. Nice choice of shops and restaurants. Free WiFi.
- Hayo BartAugust 25, 2014Arriving and a foreigner? Be sure to properly fill your disembarkation card (don't forget the back!) BEFORE queueing at immigration. It will save you, your fellow travelers and staff a lot of time.
- ErmanJuly 2, 2016A lot of souvenirs and gift items are available. Don't worry if haven't had time to do gift shopping in Osaka. You can find it all at the departures terminal
- Arief EngahAugust 4, 2019Its a compact airport for a international flight. Queue for immigration and security are stupidly long during peak hours. Unless you’re flying on business or first, be early! And enjoy the airport
- Siew WongMay 4, 2013Very basic airport. The Japanese are so amazing. They provide a very clean kids' room for the kids FOC. Even a sml origami after the play!
- For those who want to go to downtown Osaka (e.g. Namba, Shin-Imamiya), take the Nankai trains. For those who want to change to the Shinkansen or those who want to go to Kyoto directly, take JR West.
- CamiliaJune 19, 2018Good size airport. Busy but not too crowded. Airport express train directly to the airport. Very convenience.
- ikachApril 9, 2016TO KYOTO> buy a 1 day JR pass ( yen 2300 works out cheaper and faster than bus 2550 ) & when in KYOTO then buy single all day passes which aren't available at osaka.
- Nice! There are a lot of shops even after immigration. The waiting area for boarding is very spacious. CR at gate 33 is very clean, toiletries (tissue, paper seat, soap, etc) are well provided.
- Siarhei ViareikaApril 11, 2018Good free WiFi, plenty of space to have a nap between flights, not crowded most of the time. Also good deals at duty free shops, especially on traditional sweets and teas.
- Shaun FSeptember 17, 2023Sim cards are fairly priced (ignore earlier tip) - wasted time going into the city to pay the same price (30gb for ¥4400) - just buy at the airport kiosk which is also much simpler/easier
- Suzanne JenkinsMay 26, 2013Take the train or bus into Osaka city. Cabs are very expensive. Takes about 45 mins by train. I had a long layover at KIX and got into the city and back very leisurely. Worth the trip!

- Terminal 1 for all airlines except Peach and Terminal 2 is for Peach only. Take the free shuttle bus from Terminal 2 to terminal 1 where the train station is located. That's the cheapest way to town.
- Airport is an artificial island in itself, with little to no services. Far from everything, not unlike Narita. What’s more, the island has already sunk a whopping 38 feet in 25 years.

- J-OSLMarch 14, 2016Lots of stuffs for shopping at duty free price even at night, Royces chocolate, Tokyo banana, and electronic devices.
- If you have aJapanese passport and you intend to get your tax back MAKE SURE after using the automated immigration you get your stamp in the passport or you will NOT get your tax back!
- JNovember 2, 2016The duty free shops carry just about all the regional specialty snacks, not just from Osaka: Tokyo banana, shiroi koibito cookies, Kobe sweets, etc.
- Nick FodenOctober 16, 2018If you are a foreigner. Find a 7/11 branded atm in terminal 1 or 2 before heading to the trains. You will need Yen to buy train tickets and other atms wont take your card.
- Please leave enough time (at least 30 min to spare) if u r taking a train to KIX. Cause there r various kinds of trains (local, semi-express, etc) some diff trains may not take u where u wanna be!
- Azwandi ArisFebruary 9, 2017Short layover? Just under 4 hours I was able to do a return trip to Namba station (via Rap:t), walk to Mel's Coffee Roasters & stroll around Dotonbori.
