I absolutely loved this place. Went here with a group of 8 women. The ambiance and service were good- not too loud. I also loved that there were non shellfishtapas and paella options. Food was delish
Nice athmosphere, great service, Squid dish came luke warm, great taste but hotter was better, pan con tomate at the level of an average Barcelona tapas bar, great wines, chorizo/ manchego great !
It can get *very* loud in here [no matter at what time of the day you stop by] Start with the bacon wrapped date—it has a nice surprise of a crunchy almond when you bit into this bite-sized delight!
Always crowded and loud, but solid tapas. Can't go wrong with some ham, garlic shrimp and octopus. Top it off with the Txakolina wine and watch them pour it to effervescent deliciousness!
Best to go with a large group so you can order as much as possible. Everything is delicious! My favorites are the lamb meatballs, patatas bravas, and the tortilla.
Great tapas restaurant in the city. Order the white sangria! The lamb albondigas, sautéed spinach with pine nuts and the spicy shrimp with garlic were amazing dishes. You won't be disappointed.
Steamed musselswhite wine, chorizo & toasted bread $14 and sautéed spinachpine nuts, raisins, chickpeas & lemon $7. Highly recommended. Gets busy so book or go early to sit at the bar.
Awesome place nd awesome food! Good place to enjoy in the end of the day, have the best rosesangria that u ever tried, and bests tapas! Try paella, it's pretty great!
Beersangria was very refreshing. Croquettes, bacon dates and cast iron shrimp hit the spot. Portions were generous and service impeccable. Skip the nutellachurros. Great tapas place!
I love this place, very good selection of Spanish wines and beer, the flank steak with peppers and potatoes is fabulous and they have wonderful Serrano hams and Spanish cheeses. 👌🏼
i would go back for the red sangria and nutella stuffed churros. bacon wrapped dates, flatbread with pork belly and octopus were okay. skip the croquetas and patatas bravas.
The patatas bravas, the mushroomcroquete and the meat balls are great. Also try the quail eggs if you can!! Very worth it for a tapas night and light eating.
Incredible and authenticSpanish Tapas! Enjoy Sangria and a meal of Cojonudoi, Datiles con Beicon, Salteado de Setas, Gambas al Ajillo and Patatas Bravas.
I really loved it, and felt like I was in Spain for a quick second, but I think it’s a bit overpriced for what you get! Everything was delicious, though.
Fantastic, AUTHENTIC Spanish tapas! Was a nice return from Spain, after our craving for the cuisine. Filled that hungry void for some good Tortilla, Squid & Croquetas nicely. (4 of 4 petals via Fondu) Read more
Daily specials are available in addition to their fixed menu. Opt for the tortilla, bacon-wrapped dates, and albondigas; and don't forget to ask for more bread.
what is there not to love? personal favorites are the lamb meatballs, serrano ham and mushroomcroquettes, dates with bacon, espinaca dish and flat bread with mushroom, chorizo and caramelized onion
Broccoli con valdeon-brilliant, Espinacas a la catalana- too much salt Patatas bravas- flavorful, Aged manchego- fantastic,Sangrias- best I've had in NYC. Not great service (3 of 4 petals via Fondu) Read more
The salted anchovies were my favorite, but the croquetas and lamb meatballs were great too. The plates are for sharing, but four dishes went a long way
Venture farther inside and find lamb kebabs doused with sharp salsa verde, baby octopus salad, and sausagecrostini surmounted by a fried quail egg. Read more
While many “Spanish” restaurants often combine Spanish food with Mexican and Latin-American foods, Boqueria sticks to authentic European Spanish cooking. Read more
Patatas Bravas. White Sangria. Mushroomcroquettes. Shush uti Margarita - similar to Jalapeño Margarita. Churros & Chocolate sauce. Seafood Paella is pretty good.
LOVE it here. Order anything and everything. Particularly: prosciutto/cheeses, brussel sprouts, garlic shrimp, chorizo, and everything else on the menu.
Lively, Barcelona-style tapas bar serving a menu of Spanish classics—like paella, churros, sangria, pulpo, and much more— and market-driven seasonal specials in a warm, modern space in NYC's Flatiron district.
