- Artemiy KochOctober 29, 2016The 2nd thing u should do in Köln is to taste Kölsch-local top-fermented beer-that comes in small “stange” glasses(200ml):very refreshing,tastes a little bit sweet&bitter,hoppy,citrus&herbs.ABV:4.8%Upvoted 3 weeks ago
- Alexandre QuintoJanuary 15, 2016Awesome experience, very traditional restaurant. They brew their own Kolsch beer which I recommend drinking not less than 5 glasses. I also recommend a Brauhausplatte if you're with a group of 4.
- Paul NguyenSeptember 21, 2014Very good place for drinking beer. I been here every year when I came Koeln. Huge, old place. So it makes you do exerciser when you want looking friends. Good for group. Super nice food d-_-b
- Bahar AtaeiniaJanuary 28, 2019A good place to eat after exploring the dom and surrounding museums. Their local bear (kölsch) is amazing. Polite staff and quick service with almost good prices. The environment is nice and clean.

- MACApril 9, 2023While enjoying the Kolsch beer, take note of the marks on the coaster. That's how the kerbers remember how many glasses you've had!
- Ton LApril 13, 2018Best house brew beer I’ve had this year!! Also go for the “house made” sausage as well!
- L XuJuly 20, 2014Great traditional German food. If meat eater, def get the hammchen (eisbein or pork knuckle). Sooo tender and with amazing sauerkraut.
- MakedaJanuary 26, 2017They've got authentic cuisine special to Cologne. Try the schnapps and the beers are good.
- Gorka GuridiMay 12, 2019It's huge! Enter and find yourself a table. Nice pork knuckes. No credit cards (like almost everywhere). Nice atmosphere.
- Best Western Central EuropeSeptember 29, 2011One of THE top breweries in town next to Cologne Cathedral. Come here for some authentic local cuisine and the famous "Kölsch" beer. Read more
- MauriceDecember 20, 2016Great local dishes. The place is beautiful and the waiters walk around with the typical 0.2 glasses of their own Kölsch.
- КостяMay 8, 2013Very German place: great beer, tasty german famous meals, best location, good prices, fast service! But! Waiters are not polite at all! Fix this))
- Darwich TorbeyMarch 8, 2016You can drink liters and liters of kolnsh bier... Just don't go there to eat if you're vegetarian... You'll find nothing. Amazing atmosphere though!
- Markus BJanuary 6, 2011Traditional place: good beer (of course!), good food (try Haxenpfanne) and traditional rough waiters. Really a recommendable place! Order a barrel of Kölsch if you are there with enough people.
- Jonas de GrootNovember 17, 2015Huge brauhaus near the Kölner Dom. Many people drinking Kölsch, eating Bratwurst and sitting at tables.
- LycaApril 19, 2013The beer keeps pouring. Should you not want another glass, place your coaster on top of it. Don't forget or you might end up drunk. :P
- Selma UnsalDecember 21, 2019Kölsch that is the typical beer of Cologne and bockwurst that is a German sausage 👍🏼
- Best place to have a beer. Also frühteller is the real deal if you're looking for food.
- John SweeneySeptember 21, 2010Peppered Steak is excellent! Right next to the Dom Cathedral and tons of shopping! When I say shopping, I mean to die for, shopping! Store fronts as far as the eye can see!
- Viktor KostikAugust 11, 2015Very busy place in heart of Cologne but it's worth a visit. Try Sweinehaxe it's delicious.
- Christian DickmannNovember 6, 2014Rheinischer sauerbraten was excellent. And the atmosphere was great too. I will be back.
- Bahadır Cevdet KavriFebruary 3, 2014Great place, great atmosphere and awesome Kölsch with wonderful service. Lovely check point in Köln :) Absolutely must be visited... !

- Olaf SchulzJuly 21, 2019Typical Kölsch Brauhaus . Some say it’s the best Kölsch ...but taste yourself . Outside seating available .
- Pete SavilleNovember 23, 2019Atmosphere. Place is huge. Had dinner in the basement. Place does not take debit/credit cards. Cash only.
- JensSeptember 22, 2013A very traditional Cologne brewery in nice premises. Solid beer and food conveniently located. However, please just dont overrate it! There is better beer and better food close by. Its nice, not great
- Felipe GentilDecember 21, 2014Awesome local beers and great schweinschnitzel! 5min walking from Hbf :)
- Bob SmithJanuary 19, 2016We visited during the pre carnival celebrations and there are lots of people in costume having a good time.
- Don WheatApril 14, 2012A must whenever in Koln. Grab a table on the platz and people watch for hours!
- tatyana kuznetsovaOctober 13, 2016Arrogant and dismissive staff. Do not respect the customer, nor care to leave a good impression. Pasta was bland, cabbage - too sweet. Local beer was nice, but the size of the glasses is ridiculous
