My favorite latte in the city. Don't sleep on the pastries either - they stick Dough donuts and insanely good croissants.

The best coffee drinks in the city. Very talented baristas in a small but open space. The aero press coffee is unlike any coffee you have ever tasted.
Everything is good here, but the cortado is a particular standout. You want to come here for coffee. On some saturdays and sundays you'll also see theater folk.

Read more- Cortados and other espresso drinks are usually made with two shots here, but you can also order just one (or three, for the fiends among you).
When I think of a place that encapsulates the essence of manhattan. I think of Everyman. Eclectic crowd, theater in the back, the best coffee, only slightly pretentious.
My local favorite. Friendly staff. Chai latte is perfect. Not too sweet or hot, you’ll still have tasted buds after.
A stand out in a neighborhood with a ton of great coffee. Seating consistently fills up really early. Stop in and head to Stuyvesant Park in nice weather.

Great lattes and cortados, Dough doughnuts, strong wifi and outlets along the benches.
If you can snag a table, awesome place to work for a few hours. Also, I think they hire baristas based on the impressiveness of their tattoos.

Best latte in the city - even better than stumptown. I think it has a lot to do with the milk they use. I always find out about cool theater productions while there and the staff is very friendly.

As a barista myself, they probably have the greatest latte you'll find in the city next to Think Coffee. Come find me and I'll give you $3 for you to try their latte.

One of the best coffee shops in East Village. One big drawback is that they don't let you control the sugar.

Lots of space to sit, plus they take a card in case you don't have cash and need some caffeine. You can get pour-over coffee here too, if you've got time to wait. Counter Culture served here.
The staff are as amazing as the coffee. Great beans, plenty of talent, and personal attention to boot.
