Very close to the town centre, i came on a day trip to Leidn from Rotterdam, the location of this station was so perfect that I got to spend the day in Leidn & came back in time for my way back.

Be kind to yourself and instead of getting junk food buy a nice magazine or book for a change at the large Bruna bookstore in the central hall.

Really bad day? Want some delicious coffee? Go to the starbucks! More expensive, but worth the money! Also try the signature chocolate milk.

Ending ur journey here with OV chipkaart? Check IN again first on the check-in gate, then check OUT to travel for free (works anywhere with separate check-in/out gates)

Best coffee? Not Starbucks but the Lebkov coffee place directly at the back of the trainstation. (Lumc exit)

Trains are on time, clean and tidy. Station has several shops, take away buffets with sel-service payments, no waiting

Stand by thru covered bike stands for a clear view of the buses. They often change their assigned loading bays.

Aanduidingen op perronborden over de a of b zijde van de perrons (bv 4a/4b) zijn niet altijd te vertrouwen - en het is een heel eind lopen van a naar b is een heel eind. Sta klaar voor een sprintje!

De centrale stationshal is bijna een soort micro-winkelcentrum te noemen. De de keuze is reuze! Zelfs je 'last-minute' Rituals Cadeau is hier te halen!

Station oogt licht en vriendelijk. OV-fietsen verkrijgbaar aan voor- en achterzijde vh station, handige winkeltjes binnen (Hema, AH, Etos, etc).
