- Almog TlumakJune 14, 2016Best museum I ever been to. Interesting, interactive and available in English! A lot of information and very friendly, with activities for kids from time to time. Don't forget to download the app!!Upvoted Feb 3
- Eric EspirituJuly 1, 2017The museum is huge. Allocate at least 2-4 hours if you're a museum buff or if you want to maximize the experience. You can get an English audio guide at the ground floor to listen to while walking.
- ToryBurchJune 26, 2013Designed by Yoshio Taniguchi (who also designed New York's MoMA), this minimalist, modern building houses over 300 objects from the 7th and 8th centuries donated by the Horyuji Temple.
- Setareh PrzJune 27, 2019The museum has different buildings and a beautiful garden! It is big and u need some hours to cover all different parts! It’s a good place to know about Japanese culture, art, samurais!
- RachaApril 23, 2019The Museum’s garden is a must visit. Schedule 3-4 hours for this, it’s big, with multiple buildings and sitting outside by the pond is so relaxing!
- LadyJupiter.comJune 27, 2017Beautiful & affordable museum. It gets stuffy in the hot months, but plenty of chairs and lounges are available to sit when you need. The national treasures cannot be photographed (but are online!) 😉

- Érica LoureiroMay 23, 2018None of the most known pieces were at display, it was kind of disappointing!
