- Bryan ViperSeptember 25, 2012It might be the start of the off-season, but it's prime time to get Shipyard's Pumpkinhead Ale. Onion soup & pulled pork sandwich, definitely. Colossal chocolate cake was out of control good. Go. Now.
- John GavinJune 6, 2017Burger is very good but chips could be better. Onion rings have to much batter so remove the onion and enjoy. You will be shocked with so much batter on your plate. Atmosphere is great.
- Daniel McDonoughJuly 4, 2018Great little pub. Good beer selection. Try the Newes Lager. Make sure to read the menu for some fun facts about the island. Each beer comes with a wooden nickel.
- You can't go wrong with the chowder, beer selection is fantastic, and the chicken sandwich is one of my favorite things to eat on this entire island
- John GavinJune 6, 2017Burger is very good but chips could be better. Onion rings have to much batter so remove the onion and enjoy. You will be shocked with so much batter on your plate.
- Open all season! Personal favorites are the fish and chips, newes burger, and roast beef. Get the beer sampler for the table.
- Laura YehMay 5, 2017Amazing French onion soup and the best sweet potato fries I have ever had. Fun relaxed vibe and super friendly server.
- Larry NueschOctober 8, 2013We've been coming here since the day they first opened. Great atmosphere, food and micro brew. I've been collecting those wooden nickels for years.
- Every new restaurant I go to I start with a burger. If you screw that up, nothing else is good. Well, I tried that her about twelve years ago. I now have one two to three times per visit to the island
- This is my place... Rack o beers please and don't forget the wooden nickels! The only spot I am willing to buy a turkey sandwich from... Roquefort Stilettos and pretzel fried chicken mmmmmmm
- Stepheny HineJune 18, 2013Cool menus shaped like newspapers accompanied by really great sandwiches. Make sure you try the crab dip!
- Yohan PonchaJune 15, 2019Would reccommend thencrisp pork ribs and fish and chips with creamy tartar sause.
- In the off season they have some great "Wee Bites"! Our favorite is the Fried Four Mac n' Cheese!!! http://hungrynative.com/?p=262
- Jon MaimonJune 22, 2013Limited vegetarian options as to be expected for pub fare. But a really tasty porter beer, brewed locally.
- Teresa DunnSeptember 30, 2012French onion soup was delicious, BLT salad was average. Had chicken breast added, was cold chicken, would have been better grilled. All in all, pretty good.
- Unfortunately, we get our wooden nickels maybe two out of every five visits.
- Save the wooden coins the bartender gives you for the shot at getting your own mug and name on the wall! Bottoms up! One of Martha's favorite places to kick back some brew. Read more
- Chowdah & chicken sandwich- my winning combo every damn time
- Why and HOW is their chicken sandwich so amazingly good?!?!
