Homemade pickles are the shit! Beer selection is formidable. Come hungry, portions are out of control. Beans are sweet and tangy- perfect. My pork was flavorful and tender.

BBQ!! I grew up in OK, TX AND Missouri, so BBQ is a way of life. For atmosphere & food, you can’t beat Spring Street. Try their brisket & bread pudding. To die for. - Marshelle Fair, DTLA - The Series

Shared the kitchen sink with friends: worth it! The roasted veggies were surprisingly really tasty. Next time I'm trying the burnt ends!

Your surly waitress Candice has perfected the art of passive aggressive pointing and all the subtleness of a German headmaster. The food; However, was heavenly and the beer selection Great. Watch her!

Start with the cracklins & get a half rack of baby racks. Pair with any of the 8 California craft beers on tap & don't forget to leave room for bourbon st bread pudding .

Not that great. Meat was dry and Mac and cheese cost $2 extra and tasted like it was made with Velveeta. BBQ sauce was good but even the Hot version was mild.

Try the chili, it is amazing. Good, smoky, tender beef. Not too spicy. Just right.

I ordered a platter with both beef ribs and brisket. The ribs were very hard and the meat quality is bad. The brisket was average.

Be aware that it's "seat yourself" -- so if there are other parties also waiting, track the order yourself so late-comers don't seat-jack you.

Be Very careful with this place. The server "Brenda" tried to add a $10.00 tip to my bill without my consent but never succeed. I questioned how it appeared & she denied the act. Be careful peeps.
