If you are staying at Disneyland for just a short time, parking in Downtown Disney and taking the Monorail is the way to go.

There’s never a long line, so it’s easy to get on and off. Taking the loop around Tomorrowland is fun, but a lot pointless.

A young man tried to sneak in by climbing onto the track. A security guard spotted him and shouted, which caused him to run and he was struck by a train and dragged 30-40 feet down the track.

Just ask a conductor if you can ride up front. It helps to stand near front of train to ask.

When they are only running one way trips or only one monorail is operating, it's for a reason. Please be patient with the monorail pilots!
