Old gem in the lake Merritt area of Oakland. Providing indoor / sidewalk seating it's a nice atmosphere and environment to enjoy a Joe's Special with a nice mimosa on the side!..

If you order off the "special" menu, a Mimosa is $3.95. The Belgian waffle with bananas and strawberries was tasty. Service was ok...drink person couldn't answer basic menu questions. Cute patio!

the strawberry mimosas are only $1.95 on weekends and apparently holidays (4th of July), they get you pretty buzzed and they taste like heaven

Go to the Lakeshore Cafe and get any breakfast/lunch item on the menu - you won't be disappointed! Fun crowd, great service, kid-friendly. Mmmm, Eggs Benedict.
