- Deneb CatalanJanuary 15, 2013If your planning on sticking around, they have free Wifi and seating areas with wall plugins for your laptop and/or devices. Big panel windows minimizes the sense of being cooped up in a cafe. LOL
- Brad MaceJanuary 5, 2014Great design, pastries, breakfast sandwiches...try the orange-anise brioche. Only drawback as far as I can see us that they are part of the irrational, tunnel visioned Cult of Stumptown.
- Serious EatsMay 19, 2014This full-service bakery in the Pearl District has floor-to-ceiling windows so the sun streams in. The cookies are excellent, as is the fresh-baked bread.
- Great pastries, sandwiches, coffee, etc etc - best at what they do for a casual spot to sit with your dog on the corner and watch the world go by.
- CRUZiiiEFebruary 17, 2016Fresh baked bread (which they also use for their very popular sandwiches) is very good! I don't love the coffee here tho.
- SaraAugust 31, 2015Delicious turkey sandwich! I added lettuce, tomato, and onion :) Also they have quite possibly the best potato salad ever!
- Dave CamarilloSeptember 20, 2013Get the table at the corner of love joy and 10th for a great spot to sip, eat and enjoy the scene!
- Eric ShamowAugust 11, 2018I don't recall a bad meal. The chili and meatloaf are longtime standbys, but you can't go wrong.
- Brian BulkowskiJuly 23, 2014brews stumptown, closest actual coffee within blocks, especially if you are staying at the residence inn
- Django PupDecember 1, 2018Coffee and grilled cheese with tomato soup was excellent. Hot chocolate and Italian grinder was flavorless.
- Jess SSeptember 11, 2014Cute overload. Portland's version on Amy's Bread (NYC) but 100x better because...Stumptown coffee
- Aaron BouvierAugust 29, 2011Lovejoy is INCREDIBLE. Got the Lovejoy Deluxe, hands down best breakfast sandwich I've ever had. If this place was in Boston I would eat there constantly.
- Great bakery with good breakfast and lunch sandwiches, as well as pastries. Open til 6 pm.
- The wait may be long, but that is to be expected when EVERYTHING is cooked from scratch, to order. So good.
- The egg, fontina and butter sandwich is especially delicious if you add avocado and bacon!
- Adrienne BarnettJuly 2, 2013The Lovejoy Deluxe breakfast sandwich is ridiculously good - add some Tabasco and enjoy.
- Josh FajardoJanuary 29, 2015Service is a bit slow, but the sandwiches are incredible with the house made bread
- Try the things they bake. For a bakery, they really emphasize the baking they do.
- good selection of pastries and a nice place for breakfast. outdoor seating a plus.
- Charlotte KatzNovember 27, 2012The breakfast sandwiches are delicious! There is usually a long line to order, but it's worth the wait.
- Turkey avocado sandwich is pro and I am from la, where there's avocado everything
- The LoveJoy Deluxe breakfast sandwich is awesome. Fresh baked roll, egg, bacon, cheese, tarragon, frisbee and tang dressing
- Delicious coffee/food but don't expect it to be quick, speed or a cup of coffee in 5min or less is not their thing...
- Krista SwanAugust 28, 2011The olive tapenade breakfast sandwich is a dream come true of buttery, eggy, olivey deliciousness. Nice chunky Bloody Mary.
- The good is great but often takes as long as 20 minutes to come. It's just an egg sandwich!
- Try every sandwich on the menu and see if you can do it before they switch out the art.
- Egg salad sandwich - to die for - add a glass of wine - just go for it!
- Cinnamon twists are awesome, based on same dough as croissant. Limited number made each day so it's an early morning treat.
- Anna JamesDecember 31, 2014Hot chocolate and roast beef sandwich. Kaiser roll used in the sandwich was just perfect.
- myopic friendMarch 26, 2012Real vanilla bean custard in the eclairs - none of that nasty pastry cream. Don't miss.
- Pulled pork sandwich is really, really good. And the chocolate chip cookie.
- christina leigh morganOctober 27, 2011Lovejoy Deluxe was a win. Chai latte left some to be desired. Sit outside if you can. :)
- The coconut cream pie is out of this worlddd. Grab a slice, or two :]
- Never look forward to getting the steel cut oats. They're almost always sold out of it.

- Flaky wifi. It'll be fine for awhile, then it will go out entirely.
- Try the food. I recommend eating it. Also, chewing is highly recommended.
- Arrive early in the morning (around 7) and try a ciabatta roll fresh from the oven with butter and homemade jam.
- Madison LaRocheJuly 15, 2011The vanilla bean pastry is great, with just the right amount of sweetness.
