- Favorite bar in Palo Alto. Best beer selection on town. Has good pub food and darts as well.
- Probably the only pub in Palo Alto deserving of this name, great beers. Can be packed, and also they (or I should say the city) don't allow drinking outside after 8 or 9 or so, so plan accordingly.
- Great beer selection and outdoor seating. Not too much else around in Palo Alto to get that kind of experience. Lots of nerds. The fried fish looks good.Upvoted Mar 10
- Tobias SchmidtJanuary 16, 2018One of the few rare places in Palo Alto where you can get properly drunk, though that's grading on a bit of a curve
- Tuesday night trivia is the best. They've recently upped the spice on the deviled eggs, so beware.

- Robert KelleyAugust 29, 2015Love the ever changing draft beer selection here, may be the best in the bay...
- The jukebox has surprisingly good stuff. Including jazz: on a quiet night, pop on some vintage Miles or Coltrane and watch the place transform!
- Avoid the after 10 PM crowd on Fridays and the weekend—noisy and crowded. Show up closer to 7 PM and enjoy a much more relaxed atmosphere where it's easier to talk.
- Sony Mobile WTAJuly 6, 2011Great place for hanging out. For those who are happy to try out new things: have the chocolate stout before you go home!
- Mike FennellyFebruary 24, 2011If you like beer, this place is great. If you like being served beer, or service in general, eh...not so much. 10 visits so far, and every bartender would rather lick razors than actually pour a beer.
- Great place to grab a beer and chill with some friends. Plus they have Pliny!!
- Great beer bar and Kasim is a good guy, but they REALLY need to put prices on the menu!!! You can really get some unpleasant surprises here.
- Belch SpeakOctober 23, 2012Someone should call PETA. The way they overcook the ribeye for their steak sandwich is cruelty to animals.
- Draft Belgium beer in downtown and casual atmosphere. Very nice.
- Vincent ButtonNovember 8, 2011This Wednesday they're tapping some new kegs, including something special from Firestone!
- Abi JonesMarch 20, 2010The bartenders will let you taste beers. So tell them what you like and try some new beers!
- One of the few places around here that serve Trappist beer
- They have Green Flash West Coast IPA on tap right now, it is wonderfully hoppy.
