Having flown out if this airport for the last 11 years weekly at times, I can say it is the best. TSA is strict but awesome here. Yes, little food options but that is changing.
Linzie who works in the Delta area is great! She was able to help me get home after I missed my flight, saving me from having to call Delta directly. Thanks again!

Nick RadojkovicDecember 14, 2012Construction makes the walk to/from your rental car difficult in the snow. No way to roll the luggage along the way. Security opens an hour before each flight and there are no facilities beyond it.
The bar and grill place doesn't open until 10:30 AM. If you want something to eat or drink while you wait for your early morning flight, better bring it from home or your hotel.
This airport has little man syndrome for sure, and I've been to nearly a hundred airports and have to say this is definitely the most difficult to work with.
Lines are short, service is good, and the bar even has decent food!
Amber SJune 27, 2013I got through security quickly and easily, and was complimented on my socks. Airport bar and "deli" is overpriced but ok if you need something.- Well I can't agree more on delays from Duluth. A least one flight will be over sold so easy way to make an easy $400.00 credit voucher. DLH took customer service from the Delta playbook. Miss NWA

So small there's no need to be here hours in advance. Flights to-from Chicago are delayed 80% of the time, in my experience.- Quite possibly the worst trained TSA officers in the country.
Ross GoldbergApril 15, 2011Security is the strictest of any airport I've been through. Friendliest, too.
It has been a little over a year and the construction here is exactly where it was the last time I was here. Security is nice but act like they are training you again on how to go through security.
Deplaning here is so slow. Always as if its the first airplane they've seen.
