A nice assortment of fine quality items and worth a stop if you live in the neighborhood or are passing by on the Henry Hudson. Many of the Fairway brand items are quite good and reasonably priced.
In the last couple of years I've been more about CSAs and Farmers Markets, but if I go just to a supermarket, I choose fairway. This place had its ups and downs but with the recent Whole Foods quality drop due to Amazon merger, I happily leave my $ here.. Cheese, cold cuts, juice, beer, and gourmet selection is top in New York
Gelato FiascoNovember 15, 2013Caramel Sea Salt Gelato is a seaswept, buttery caramel flavor made with Certified Organic milk from Maine family farms. Pair with Dark Chocolate Caramel Sea Salt for contrast.
Great grocery store in Harlem. The deli line takes a bit long, but you get a free slice of cheese!

Cheap and delicious bulk coffee. Lots of flavors available, and their house beans are under $8/lb.
I love this store to bits. Be careful with the prepared foods by the deli as they are sometimes spoiled. Breakfast bar here puts all corner delis to shame. Parsley and green onions make everything fancier and tasty.

Great grocery. Avoid Sundays...usually empty on weekday nights. A must stop at least once a week!

Can you say "olive bar?" Fantastic selection- the red cerignolas are my favorite.
Alicia's Blend coffee is outstanding-- my roommate loves dark roasts, I prefer medium, and we can finally agree on one coffee.
