Monica OliverAugust 1, 2013Easily the coolest REI store anywhere. Make sure you go through the main entrance, because its awesome. Kids play area and restaurant and climbing wall. I could die happy here.

Ponzi BlackAugust 23, 2011Best tip! If you are coming for hiking boots definitely try the outlet. Someone has already broke them in for at least one hike! Oh - def spring for the uber thick socks with wicking action!
Check out the Ranger Station, they are a plethora of parks and great places information!
- REI membership... Totally worth it. $20 for a lifetime membership, killer deals, coupons, garage sales, no receipt returns... I could go on

The REI garage is free for 1 hour but paid afterwards. Make sure to set an alarm for yourself since it's so easy to get sucked into the awesomeness of the store.- TJanuary 5, 2019This is the biggest REI I have ever been. What I really like the most of REI is the staff. So knowledgeable and helpful and friendly!
A treehouse that's just the right size for kids, and too small for adults. An excellent break from shopping. Awesome!

Colin BoeSeptember 24, 2011If you plan on renting ski/snowboard equipment during the peak season you will need to reserve it WELL in advance. They will be out if you try to rent gear the day before your trip.
Leave the kids in the play area so you can shop in peace. You don’t have to pick them back up if you don’t want.

Be sure to stop by the gear garage downstairs below cycling. They sell returned or partially damaged gear. You can find some awesome deals.

Start your shopping in the outlet/ lightly loved section.
If you are size xs lady then enjoy the clearance racks of cute discount gear. Us Vikings are SOL

The tree house on the second level is a great rainy day activity for the kids!
Buying a pack? Bring in some gear, or gather some from around the store to get a realistic feel 4 the pack you're investing in. This is way better than using the sandbags. Then walk the store w/ pack
