One of the best meals I have ever had. Order the alligator cheesecake for an appetizer.. Fried chicken is ridiculous, red fish is amazing as well. Grab a drink at the bar while you wait...

The cheesecake starter was amazing! Not a dessert. The spinach salad with sesame dressing & fried oyster garnish is such a simple but delicious complimentary dish. Great service.

Yes...you want to eat here! Possibly the best meal you will have in NOLA. Monk fish was cooked perfectly and all the apps are very good. The table in the truck is very cute. No reservations.

Soft shell crab, gumbo, complimentary corn bread and of course, the fried chicken. It is quintessential Nola. My favorite restaurant in town.

One of the best restaurants I've ever been to. Red fish was melt in your mouth! Fried green tomatoes were one of the best I've had. Save room for coconut bread pudding.

Most of the menu is straight-up Creole, among the best in town. You will likely have to wait for a seat, but the Maple Leaf Bar is half a block away, so it’s no big deal. [Eater 38 Member]

Unassuming dinner spot Uptown. Various inventive Cajun and creole dishes in a converted home. Seating options are plentiful including in the bed of a pickup truck. Fun experience off the normal path.

I had the blackened redfish and the fried green tomatoes! The sauce with the redfish (and the fish itself) was one of the best things I've had since being here in NO.

We've always loved this place, but either the regular chef was on vacation tonight or we ordered the wrong thing. All I can say is avoid the (inedible) paneed rabbit, the venison and the gumbo.
