- Bernice KohJuly 23, 2012Good quality ingredients for sushi. Love the special omelette with scallop handroll. Can be pricey if you order hot food and sashimi as well. Hot pot udon is nice for winter :)
- Ms HeleneSeptember 14, 2015Still good, still made to order and $3 plate lunch specials during the week
- Claire HurleyMarch 21, 2013Get the kingfish. Amazing fresh flavour. They also provide free cold tap water which is a welcome change from other sushi restaurants!
- Jing ZengNovember 8, 2014Soft shell crab hand roll and seafood udon are the best. They have great sushi and sashimi selections.
- Ci'an KempSeptember 15, 2011Consistent, excellent quality and variety of fish. The sushi and especially the sashimi here are far superior to the city Makoto.Slightly crowded seating is the only downside.
- Mario TsangMay 10, 2011One of the nicest, most consistent sushi places around. Great service and ever changing sashimi menu as well. Also, try the red bean strawberry mochi for dessert!
- Dominic TamSeptember 21, 2015Great sushi place. Make sure you Try their daily specials. Queue is expected.
- Huong ToOctober 16, 2011I don't have that much money in my life, to try out Tets more than once, so Makoto is the firstly second place i'd go. There are Fisher Man Soup and Crab Salad to refresh my sushi menu.
- Adriaan StellingwerffFebruary 15, 2014Read a lot about the soft shell crab hand roll, but was a bit disappointed as the seaweed was really chewy. Stick to the regular sushi I reckon (which is good)
- cindy chong evansJune 28, 2014Fresh sashimi, reasonable prices. Avoid the veggie tempura...batter is too thick.
- Andrew GerrardJuly 1, 2010Long wait but worth it. Sushi train style. Also hit up the chefs for a la carte masterpieces. If too busy you can do self serve takeaway
- Hand rolls are okay. Love the salmon raw salmon sushi here, fresh & nice!
- VivMay 1, 2010try the other fish here in the sushi other than the usual salmon/tuna/kingfish (snapper, bonito, etc!)
- Ardi AstartoSeptember 1, 2010Brilliant sushi! I was lucky enough to not have to wait but if I did, I'd be happy to
- Order the platters if you're the type who don't like waiting!
