Luzern to interlaken express has breathtaking views and runs every hour from 6.05 to 6.05pm! Do not go via bern if u want the views!

Base station for accessing central Switzerland. Catch changeover train to Engelberg (base station for Titlis). Golden pass train to Interlaken passed through absolutely stunning scenery.

It is always better to buy a unlimited travel pass for tourists to save effort when you don't speak or read a word of German like me.

Try „Kaffeekranz“ at the rear entrance of the station (underpass / Zentralstrasse). These great guys serve the best coffee in town - only in the early mornings on weekdays!

So close to the see:-) If you have to wait, take a walk outside for magnificent views. Station itself is nice as well. Not fond of parking garage - very small spaces, even for the small car I had..

Have tourist questions? The tourist info office is amazingly helpful and speaks English fluently. It's beside the Burger King.

The train system in Switzerland is fabulous and always on time. The scenery from and to Luzern is really relaxing. Must do in your trip.

Luggage lockers are on platform 14. Coins only. Otherwise there is attended luggage storage on the top floor, more expensive.

Mein Heim-Bahnhof. Es gibt alles was man fürs tägliche Wohl braucht. Ein Tibits-Restaurant sogar. Migros und Coop bis 22:00.
