- You're really spoiled for choices in Laguna. Lumberyard adds to those choices with great drinks and good food. Avoid the weekends if you don't want to be a part of the large, typical OC crowd.

- If you are lucky enough to be here when the ocean fresh Pacific Halibut is on offer by all means get it. And have the Lumberyard House Chardonnay to go with. The best!

- If you like a good steak, have the 10oz filet. It's among the best in Laguna, and you won't leave feeling hungry!
- It's all good at the Lumbeyard. Steak, fish, or gourmet Burgers, they do it right.
- Do not order the banana special. It is flavourless, bland, mushy and unexciting. Stick with Hog Pie -- particularly if you like the chocolate & peanut butter combo a la Reese's Peanut Butter cup.
