- Austin WestermannMarch 17, 2016Best venue in Iowa period! Try to get as close as you can to the front, it makes the experience even better, you feel so immersed!
- Get season tickets. Seriously. For a little more than you pay for one show, you can go to 5-7 shows at astonishingly affordable prices. Park at 5th and Walnut -- it's hardly used on show nights.
- K BurkeNovember 19, 2011If you're going to see Wicked come 2 1/2 hours early and try your luck at the lottery. We got a pair of orchestra seats for $25 each! Cash on hand a must.
- Patrick GénéreuxNovember 13, 2016Great venue, we are a lucky community. John Prine concert was great...except they didn't get the sound system right...was almost like static...
- ThomasNovember 1, 2015There are always interesting (and usually locally-produced) shows in the Stoner Theater, in the basement here.
- Erik RowleyMarch 9, 2015Lots of memories playing alto sax here for the Iowa Jazz Competition held each year. Listen to a variety of cool, swingin' high school jazz bands!
- OrchidJanuary 16, 2015I went to see Book of Mormon here! If you're a bigger person the seats are a tight squeeze, though.

- Amy RobertsOctober 5, 2013Mr. Valli was AMAZING & AWESOME! A GREAT entertainer! We had a terrific time!!
- Tracy Haller CoakleyFebruary 2, 2013They sell Chocolate Storybook goodies at the concessions! Yum! Do it!
- Not a bad seat in the house...except the one you didn't buy.
- The StageWest season ticket is a great value. They do thought-provoking, fun performances at the Civic Center's Stoner Theater.
- For many musicals the seating is better in the back for acoustics.
- I thought Wicked was a good show. I did not find myself humming any tunes as I left. This will most likely be the only time I see this production.
- Paul SearsMarch 28, 2010The seating effing SUCKS here. Old man after old man climbs over you and trips on your feet. The seats are so effing narrow it's awkward as f@*k to try and stand up to let people pass.
- Pre-order your drinks for intermission. Ask your bartender!
