Austin WestermannMarch 17, 2016Best venue in Iowa period! Try to get as close as you can to the front, it makes the experience even better, you feel so immersed!- Get season tickets. Seriously. For a little more than you pay for one show, you can go to 5-7 shows at astonishingly affordable prices. Park at 5th and Walnut -- it's hardly used on show nights.

Not a bad seat in the house...except the one you didn't buy.
The StageWest season ticket is a great value. They do thought-provoking, fun performances at the Civic Center's Stoner Theater.
For many musicals the seating is better in the back for acoustics.
I thought Wicked was a good show. I did not find myself humming any tunes as I left. This will most likely be the only time I see this production.
Paul SearsMarch 28, 2010The seating effing SUCKS here. Old man after old man climbs over you and trips on your feet. The seats are so effing narrow it's awkward as f@*k to try and stand up to let people pass.
