- LufthansaJune 10, 2013Visit the observation deck in Dock B and enjoy fascinating views of the aprons and runways. The outdoor observation walkway allows you to catch a glimpse of the pilots in their cockpits.Upvoted 2 weeks ago
- Big, and well organized. Clean, looks new and very chic. Quite spacious, DutyFree area is big, there are many designer retail shops, food options are great. Several lounges available around.Upvoted 6 days ago
- JohanFebruary 8, 2015The code for free 60 min WiFi access can be used on multiple devices. Also: it's so clean that you can eat from the floor (but there are enough chairs and tables as well)Upvoted 1 week ago
- I've never seen such an organized, clean and speedy airport. Or car parks. They are so clean you could eat from the floor. Classical music included!!! Compare that to UK car parks ... YikesUpvoted 1 week ago
- kartik sFebruary 19, 2016For int'l passengers transiting to/from terminal E: Get your code for free wifi by scanning your boarding pass at the kiosk b/w gate e53 and the Starbucks. This is not widely advertised.
- Adithya PcAugust 21, 2014The quietest airport I've been to. And the scenery around is just brilliant. Typical swiss surroundings. Coupled with an awesome terminal one of the best airports in Europe.
- PereMarch 5, 2017One of the best airports in Europe. Security check is really efficient and never took me more than 10 minutes waiting. I love itUpvoted Mar 11
- LufthansaNovember 2, 2012Fancy a drink in Zurich? The Kronenhalle Bar is an institution for itself, with paintings by Miró, Picasso and Klee on the walls and former world champion barkeeper Peter Roth in charge of drinks.
- Freddy DeTomatoJanuary 21, 2015Free WiFi for one hour...very quiet and super organized...I love the train inside the airport from terminal E to main terminal with typical swiss moooo sounds and bells!!!
- Lisa StarbucksJuly 29, 2017Best airport - period! 🇨🇭👌 No other is better prepared, efficient and effective. You feel safe as well because they are mindful with the security checks and no package lies around unattended.
- Emilio VillegasAugust 10, 2018Cleanest airport I have seen next to the Japanese ones. The berlin airport should be ashamed.
- Nikita GorshkovJanuary 30, 2016The tips are self explanatory and it's simply the best airport around. Shops, food, architecture, views. And yes, best security and border system I've seen yet.
- Luisger LopezOctober 6, 2019I suggest travelers arrive well ahead of their flights for this airport. It is rather massive in scale: in my case, I arrived via train, and spent some 40mins reaching Terminal E (Turkish Airlines).
- The Asia restaurant on level 2 of the Swiss Airlines terminal is super yummy. I tried the Tom Yam Goong and Green Cury and loved it. Nicely spicy.
- Arriving from outside of the Schengen area, you can choose which of the two passport control points to use, by taking the tunnel connecting the B/D gates with the E gates. Useful if one is very busy.
- Adam El-SodaneyMarch 7, 2020If your flight departs from Gates E (eg. E59) then go the gates immediately! There are cafes here, but it’s a long walk, passport control, several escalators and a rail transit service!
- All non-Schengen departures (US, Africa, Middle East, etc.) leave from terminal E, accessible by a 3 min. train ride. What a stellar airport. So quiet and clean. ❤🇨🇭
- Clyde SandfordNovember 8, 2016Family service area in Terminal E was a life saver for us and our 3 year old and 1 year old. Very friendly staff and great place for the kids to play and for adults to relax while watching their kids.
- What I like about it: toilet doors open automatically. 2016 year and still this useful feature is a rare thing. PS have a meal at Marche - fresh and tasty
- One of most organized airports I know. A cow's moo, horns and bells on the inter-terminal train puts you right in the Swiss spirit. And if you're a chocoholic, Sprungli's shop is a must-stop.
- Andrew GlazkovJuly 18, 2017Nice airport. I hate their lounges for lack of space, but other than that it's great. I mean food court, shops, everything that helps to get distracted from flying is awesome.
- Foxxy BNovember 15, 2018Buy something inexpensive & use your 20% off coupon for a larger purchase. Airport is clean & crisp, very Swiss. Several lounges for Priority Pass members. Easy to navigate. Food is good but pricey.
- Very convenient location (10 min from HB by train). Although it's huge it feels very cozy as everything is super well organized 👍👍👍
- Frederik VerleyeApril 24, 2017At the end of wing A, behind A86, there's an amazing lookout to watch planes take off and land
- Carina AndersenMarch 26, 2015Free wifi and quick, efficient and easy international transfer, leaving you time for a pretzel and a pint at one of the bars in between flights.
- If you like chocolate you must visit the lindt store on the second floor: they even produce handmade fresh chocolate and have lindt ice cream which I don't think I've seen anywhere else in the world!
- Such a lovely airport. Very tidy, super clean, great shopping opportunities - and make sure to take the train that takes you to the other terminals: It's a must see!
- Cenker KöseOctober 16, 2016Since Switzerland is not an EU country (although it is in Schengen area), you have to finish your tax-free process and get official stamp on your invoice at the country of purchase!
- Really good in terms of train and bus connections. Airport has its own train station. Love the accessibility to go to Konstanz.
- Eat at the sports bar - airside downstairs on the left. Order a classic club sandwich.
- A must-eat in Zurich is Butterbrezel = pretzel with butter. Locals' absolute favorite for breakfast 😋
- Beautifully designed and well thought out. This is a model of an airport done right! Which offers fondue and raclette 😋
- Daniel HoeslJanuary 14, 2017Simply the best, most efficient, reliable and convinient airport of the world - but always too pricey, thanks to swiss francs.
- Dee HDecember 9, 2016Clean, clearly marked with visible signs, free capped wifi, very expensive food and drink. The lounges had good food and drinks.
- Brett DeWoodySeptember 22, 2017Best wifi I've seen at an airport. And one of the best free wifi networks I've seen anywhere, honestly.
- Claudia MFebruary 20, 2016Who needs more than 60 minutes of wifi when you have kiosks of free design and architecture magazines to browse? Amazing airport.
- Very nice airport. Hard to access WiFi without a Swiss mobile number. Limited food options at E gates. Very strict with the liquid allowance!
- Paige HunterApril 15, 2017Everything is very clean and efficient. Basically what you would expect in Switzerland.
- Very nice, modern airport. Free wifi for an hour. Impeccably clean. Get a Laugenbretzel (pretzel) for a snack!
- F!August 31, 2016Free wifi for 120mins. Clean toilets, expensive foods, the airport open 24hours. You can sleep overnight in terminal D just in front of the transit hotel for free.
- Mariana GuedesFebruary 17, 2015Everything is programmed to really work at this airport. Connection was really fast! They provide 1L plastic bags for liquids.
- Radka JaníkováJanuary 21, 2015Nice airport, really modern and well connected! Happy about the sport bar at terminal E, close do duty free. Only bad thing is that u have only 1 hr of free WiFi.
- Ryan GomiscekDecember 30, 2012Getting stuck for a night in Zurich is highly recommended. Gorgeous city, great free hotel room provided by the airline, overall the best cancelled flight location you can ask for.
- The Airport completed a major expansion project in 2003, in which it built a new parking garage, a new midfield terminal, and an underground people mover to the midfield terminal to the main terminal.
- Welcome back, always nice to see the crazy swiss people when you arrive, if you come from overseas, make sure you enjoy this moment everytime you land!
- Tereza N.March 2, 2017Best airport lots of place for charging your mobile.Helpful staff. If you flight with Swiss you got best service. I missed my flight and they booked for me other flight give me voucher for food 20 CHF
- Angela WuMarch 21, 2017Long layover? Terrace outside security @ the airport is nice! Or make a daytrip, luggage holding is 5 francs for 4hrs (go to Service Center) & train to Zurich HB (main station) is frequent and ~15 min
- BEST intra-terminal train ever (from A to E)!! Cows mooing, country-side sounds, and mountain views. Amazing and smart entertainment!
- The first flight abroad from Switzerland landed in 1921. In the early years of aviation, the Dübendorf Air Base, located some 8 km (5.0 mi) to the south-east of Zurich Airport.
