初台、幡ヶ谷に行きたい場合は地下鉄直通列車(ほとんど本八幡行き、たまに大島行き)か新線新宿行きに乗ること。上記の行き先の列車ならどの種別でもこの2駅に止まります。単なる「新宿」行きに乗ってしまうと、各駅停車でもスルーされるのでご注意。

新宿に行く人も、朝の混雑時には、京王新線に乗り換えた方が、新宿に早く着く時間帯があります。特に何かでダイヤが乱れている朝は、京王線は笹塚から先のトンネルが大渋滞になるので、ここで乗り換えることをお勧めします。

（都営新宿線直通）神保町での三田線への乗換えには10両編成ならば5,6号車が便利です

2012年9月末で、ショッピングモール21前にあったハチ公バスの停留所は閉鎖（ハチ公バスのルート変更による）。
