Entrance fee depends on where you want to view. e.g. You have to pay 360 yen for "The Swimming Pool". and 1000 yen for go inside the pool. Some places are not allowed to take photos. Too complicated.

Actually, I didn't even see the exhibit inside the museum, because there was plenty to see outside of the exhibition! I especially liked the gift shop, where there were many innovative items.

Really fun, interesting art museum. Explore the short permanent exhibition: it takes just a few minutes. It's entertaining, playful. All a contemporary museum should be.

i am actually in kanazawa for the museum. but it turned out a bit disappointed. overall settings are great but the exhibitions are very plain. and its japanese holiday so there is a lot of people...

Interesting museum building with equally interesting exhibitions. Free exhibitions too, so don't hesitate to go in.

You can get in to some of the exhibits for free including the top of the pool. Worth a stop.

Not worth paying to go inside with children. The museum is too quiet and over policed by zealous attendants. There is a free kids play room which is amazing.

現代美術など興味なくても楽しめる美術館。オススメはなんといってもレアンドロの「スイミング・プール」。2014年でちょうど開館10周年だが何度見ても飽きない。カフェレストラン「Fusion21」も地元の加賀野菜を使ったメニューが豊富。金沢に来たらぜひ行きたいスポット

『内臓感覚展』は、4月27日から9月1日まで。顔をしかめながら、見入ってしまうような作品が多い。禅と村上春樹から影響を受けたというオルドウォーバース、現実をえぐるような宮城県北釜在住の写真家志賀理江子が特に印象的。プレゼンテーションが良いのは、床に寝て３６０度に広がる映像を見るピピロッティ。

素晴らしい体験のためのちょっとした我慢（前売り券を買う労力、当日券に並ぶ労力、コインロッカーを探して歩かされる労力）ができるならば、ここはここにしかないものを体験できる場所の中で最もコストパフォーマンスの高い場所の１つとなるでしょう。市民に開かれた美術館であるここは、いつでもあなたを待っています。

コンセプトは『まちに開かれた公園のような美術館』。まわりのどこから見てもガラス張りで入ってみたくなる美術館。SANAAの設計作品。展示のオススメはレアンドロの「スイミング・プール」。

台湾のアーティスト、マイケル・リンが金沢の伝統工芸、加賀友禅に取材した壁絵。椅子は、建築家ユニットSANAAとのコラボ作品。壁絵から文様を抜き出してあります。座ると、ゆらーりゆらり。。。

フードアーティスト諏訪綾子氏による「あじわいの体験」は、10月までの土日祝に開催されます。。チケットは、会場にて14:45に500円で販売されます。美食でも健康のためでもない、五感を研ぎ澄ます食の体験です。

噂通りちょっと日本の美術館らしからぬシュールな面白さ。スイミングプールの下から見上げるには1000円の入場券が必要だが、やはりここは押さえておきたい。上から見下ろすだけなら無料だけれど、それだけでは友達に自慢話が出来ないでしょ。

企画展が複数あるため入場券の販売システムがかなり複雑になっている。自分で判断してしまうと見たかった常設展示のエリアに入れない可能性があるので、どの常設展示を見たいかをチケット販売員の人に伝えるのが確実。

3月行きましたが死ぬほど混んでて中には入れず😭並んでいると壁がガラス張りのせいで3月でもめちゃくちゃ暑く、夏は行けないなぁて感じです。冷房つけてもらいたいぞ！！！

当日券カウンターは待ち時間がかなり長い。すぐそばの能楽美術館に行くと21世紀美術館コレクション展とのセット券を販売しているので、時間が無い人はそちらで買う手もある。
